Snubbull (Japanese: ブルー Bull) is a Template:Type2 Pokémon.
It evolves into Granbull starting at level 23.
Biology
Physiology
Snubbull resembles a pink bipedal bulldog with unusual blue polka dots covering its body. It appears to be wearing a small dress with a blue colored ruff; however, this is probably due to wrinkles of loose skin that cover its body. Its face is somewhat fierce looking, with a pronounced underbite. Snubbull’s ears are flat, curved, and tipped with black, and oddly Snubbull appears to have two pairs of them. Snubbull has a small, shiny black nose, and beige-colored, three-toed feet with circular pink paw pads on the undersides.
Gender differences
None.
Special abilities
Snubbull has strong jaws, and as such it can use Bite, Crunch, and the more enigmatic Elemental Fang trio. Snubbull, with the specific example being Madame Muchmoney's Snubbull, possesses an ability like 'real-life' dogs to use its keen sense of smell to track things down.
Behavior
Despite this Pokémon's fierce looking face, it is very playful and affectionate. It is a popular companion among women for its devotion and loyalty, according to The Complete Pokémon Pocket Guide. While there is some debate on to whether or not it files into the "ugly" or "cute" category, many girls find this Pokémon very appealing. It is not aggressive and tends to prefer to scare away its opponent rather than fight. Although Snubbull is a bipedal Pokémon, it has been depicted on occasion to run on four feet.
Habitat
Snubbull wander around urban areas.

Major appearances
In Pikachu's Vacation Snubbull is the leader of the group that fights against Pikachu and co. This appearance made it one of the first few Generation II Pokémon to appear in the anime.
During the early Johto saga, beginning in Snubbull Snobbery, a Snubbull chased Team Rocket's Meowth and tried to bite his tail. She followed Meowth until evolving in The Trouble With Snubbull, and then returned home.
Minor appearances
A Snubbull appeared in Jessie's fantasy, in Three Jynx and a Baby!.
