Trivia

Origin

Cryogonal's appearance seems to be based on both snowflakes and ice crystals. The ability to trap prey in ice crystals may be a reference to Hrimthurs, Nordic giants who were made of ice, who also have this ability.

Name origin

Cryogonal derives from the prefix cryo- and the suffix -gonal. Furiijio may be derived from "frigid", meaning intensely cold.
