:I would say this is correct. I have seven badges, and have over 5000 Dream Points, and go to the Pleasant Forest and Windswept Sky about 50-50, but have never been to the Sparkling Sea. However, I'm only just over 5000, so my sample size is fairly small, and I have probably only had over 5000 for about two days. --[[User:SnorlaxMonster|<span style="color:#A70000">'''Snorlax'''</span>]][[User talk:SnorlaxMonster|<span style="color:#0000A7">'''Monster'''</span>]] 08:01, 12 May 2011 (UTC) |

Pokémon
Well, I don't have too much of a right to say anything, since I don't know of an official source, but doesn't this need to be updated with all the other Pokémon availiable?--Black Yin Zekrom 02:34, 1 October 2010 (UTC)
- It is an online feature, and Game Freak can make whatever they want appear in the wild here. --SnorlaxMonster 10:32, 2 October 2010 (UTC)

Mewtwo and Other Legendaries
Alright, Mewtwo has a Dream World ability, so why isn't it listed in the Dream World? And what about other Legendaries like Groudon, Rayquaza, and the like? Is this list simply incomplete?--Black Yin Zekrom 04:09, 10 October 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, please read the
{{incomplete}}
template. That's what it says.--444Zekrom 04:17, 10 October 2010 (UTC)

Dream World insiders?
Now the Dream World is open to the public, shouldn't we start adding stuff we can do there? I already summarized the big picture on this Bulbanews article I wrote, but I'm not sure how to best add all of that to this article. I'll start adding more details once someone has some solution. --BlackySully 15:38, 15 October 2010 (UTC)
Evolution
For Pokémon with different Dream World abilities than their evolutions, does their ability change upon evolving? For instance, would an Eevee with Anticipation evolve into a Vaporeon with Hydration? Or would the Vaporeon just have Water Absorb, like a normal in-game Vaporeon? --AndyPKMN 18:15, 15 October 2010 (UTC)
- Since this is still unanswered (a month later), I'll create a corollary to the question. It's been suggested that Daruma Mode Hihidaruma can't have evolved. But what ability does a Darumakka with Inner Focus (obtained via the Dream World) have upon evolution? --AndyPKMN 22:57, 1 November 2010 (UTC)
- Inner Focus Darumakka evolves into Daruma Mode Hihidaruma. Pokémon with Dream World abilities evolve into their Dream World forms. surskitty 14:55, 6 November 2010 (UTC)
Pictures
Is there any chance to rip ALL Pokemon pictures from the Dream World website? This is the only way we could get decent artworks of Gen V Pokemon so early on. Also, they'll be useful even after the Sugimori Artwork is revealed (we can put them to the gallery, they are kind of like Dream World "sprites"). --Maxim 09:36, 16 October 2010 (UTC)
Separate
I suggest the abilities part be a separate page. This page needs to have info on the Dream World itself and not just the Pokémon's abilities it gives. Also, there are Pokémon the come with moves, not just abilities. tc²₆tc26 08:52, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
- Agreed. I think we should also have a clear distinction between Dream World abilities and "natural" abilities. For example a "dream world only ability" tag, and having different tables in ability pages for pokemon that can have the ability naturally and those that only have it through the Dream World... I guess this is a good topic for the Main talk page, so I'll start a discussion there. --BlackySully 23:53, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
- I say we keep it all as one page. The abilities get one section, the moves get another section. Dream World abilities are already separated like that. --SnorlaxMonster 12:22, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
- That would mean a horribly long page full of tables and text all together. A mess. There are too much Pokémon. If they decide to expand this in a new game, it will get worse. tc²₆tc26 11:15, 22 October 2010 (UTC)
- I say one page for the Dream World describing the features, areas, etc., and one page, maybe two, for abilities and moves. I don't think we can fit everything on this page, especially because of how many things one can do in the Dream World (not limited to catching Pokémon). --AndyPKMN 14:08, 22 October 2010 (UTC)
- That would be opposed to having several extra pages that are purely tables. We could have List of Pokémon by Dream World ability if this page gets long, but it seems fine for now. As for the moves, there aren't many so they can have a section here, no need for their own page. --SnorlaxMonster 01:33, 28 October 2010 (UTC)

Pokémon available
Is it true that every Pokémon is available in the Dream World? I don't think the evolved forms are available.-Billy4b2004 12:13, 6 November 2010 (UTC)
- Every Pokémon can be available, it's all up to whoever manages the Dream World to put Pokémon in. There are no set Pokémon. --SnorlaxMonster 12:41, 6 November 2010 (UTC)
Latter Two Methods Disabled
Players may make neighbors by meeting other players online, after adding Friend Codes, meeting on the GTS, or befriending someone as the Dream Tree. However, the latter two methods depend on options which are currently disabled. Players may go to their neighbors' islands and water their berries or trade items.
So, will the latter two methods ever be undisabled or are the disabled forever for unexplained reasons?- unsigned comment from Bellsprout (talk • contribs)
- As of yet it's hard to tell. I doubt they would've coded them originally with the intention of disabling them (though Faraway Island and the Hall of Origin do spring to mind...), and the tutorials even mention them. Having grayed out buttons also seems odd, if they were going to remove them completely they should've removed the buttons too. It seems they were only disabled along with the introduction of the hour limit from the news releases and help topics, so I'd assume when the hour limit is removed(if ever...) they'll be re-enabled. Limit of 50
Serebii talks about a limit wherein you can only receive 50 Pokémon from the Dream World ever. Others on the net say that that limit applies only to the number in the High Link forest (unless Serebii actually means the same thing, just bad wording). Can anyone here confirm what is true? tc²₆tc26 06:37, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- Hmm... I had assumed it wouldn't be a hard limit of 50 as that seems an odd arbitrary number. Looking at the text I have though now I'm even more confused... I thought there was more detail about it, but this is all I can find in the Dream World tutorial, and I can't find anything about it in the game. I'll keep looking though.
- This is the Friend Board.
- Photographs of the Pokemon that were met and wished to become a friend at the Dream Island, and those Pokemon whose wishes have been granted, appear on this Friend Board.
- The Pokemon on the Friend Board will appear in the Hi Link's Forest Plaza.
- The Pokemon that appear in the Forest Plaza will surely become your friends.
- That's right! If there are more than 50 photographs on the Friend Board, you can't go to the Dream Island, so be careful!
- Translation by me. Bluesun 16:55, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- The picture accompanying the second half of that help page displays the side of the friend board that shows Pokemon from Dream World waiting to be brought back to your game. I suspect it means that it can only store 50 Pokemon before you have to bring them back, but the other side (pokemon you have brought back) looks like it may only have room at the bottom between the arrows for 5 pages of Pokemon at 10 pictures per page, so I don't know. I've only brought back 25 anyway, so it'll be a while before I could say. --Emtu 18:51, 20 November 2010 (UTC)
I found this page after searching for this very subject. Unable to find a concrete answer anywhere on the web (that was perfectly clear) I contacted the pokemon support team. Here is their response: "Currently, the limit for total transfers is 50 as stated. It is possible that this limit will be expanded in future promotions or updates, however there is no released information to do so at this time." So it looks like we're stuck at 50 for now. I responded and asked if the 50 pokemon limit included promotional pokemon, like the evee evolution. I'll update when I receive a response. Torynspirit 23:43, 9 May 2011 (UTC)
I've passed more than 100 pokémon from dream world to my japanese game. Or you are talking about limit of pokémon inside of the entralink? In that case, I don't know, but until now, i've no problem with that. If you go to Entralink and say No to one pokémon, he'll go to more inside the forest. Maverick Hunter
America
Will this be accessible in America?--Darknesslover5000 03:40, 23 January 2011 (UTC)

Dream locations
Are there set pokemon and Items that could randomly be found or is the pokemon and items appearing in a area totally random? And totally random means that say, moltres could appear in shining sea, or magikarp in the forest, etc. Catboy41 00:36, 2 February 2011 (UTC)
- Never mind, silly question. But shouldn't there be separate pages for the dream locations? Thanks, Catboy41 21:46, 10 February 2011 (UTC)
Trainer tokens
I remember seeing the symbol used in the "fun zone" for trainer tokens somewhere in dream world related content I'm pretty sure I saw it on the GL site when it was up in jap and I was just blindly clicking anything to see if I could get a glimpse of what it would be like in English. is the currency use in the dream world the same currency? or is everything dream world related just shrouded in too much mystery and fog? —Mada-sama (Talk to me!)— 06:47, 2 March 2011 (UTC)
- If I read the article properly I see that I am an idiot although I'm still pretty sure I saw that symbol, never mind —Mada-sama (Talk to me!)— 06:51, 2 March 2011 (UTC)
Eeveelution
How do you transfer the Eeveelution from the online Pokemon.com game from there? i have no idea. ☆The Solar Dragon☆ 17:10, 13 April 2011 (UTC)
- You wait for the distribution to launch (in Japan that was two months after the minigame did), then go to Promotions and activate it there. Then, the next time you wake up a Pokémon, it'll come too. Bluesun 18:21, 13 April 2011 (UTC)
I got a message from the Pokemon website support the other day that said the eeveelutions will be available on May 5th. Legionaireb 06:21, 24 April 2011 (UTC)
Dream World abilities and breeding with Ditto
Read:
Breeding mechanics:
Female Pokémon with Hidden Abilities can pass on the Hidden Ability to their offspring. Ditto count as male for this purpose.
However, I have seen other sources that say that Dream World abilities will not be inherited by the offspring at all if the father involved is Ditto. Can anyone else confirm this? Fenyx4 11:58, 14 April 2011 (UTC)
- This doesn't count as verification, but I just tried breeding my Cloud Nine female Lickitung with a Ditto and none of the 20 eggs I hatched came out with Cloud Nine. Hezekiah957 23:39, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
- Couldn't find anything relevant on the talk page for breeding, but out of 16 eggs with a Ditto and a Nidoran Female with Hustle, none of them hatched to have Hustle. Not impossible, but improbable. I have also not had it occur for any of my other Pokemon with Dream World abilities, out of 60-ish eggs total. I'd say this warrants further checking, but I'm inclined to think that they do not pass on through Ditto. TheBeardedRobot 06:47, 17 April 2011 (UTC)
Good Evening. Pokemon Black & Pokemon White Versions: The Official Unova Pokedex & Guide: Volume 2. Page 239 "Hidden Abilities can be inherited Two of the Pokémon you'll find in the game have Hidden Abilities: the Musharna that shows up in the Dreamyard every Friday after you finish the main story, and the Darmanitan that awakens from a statue with a RageCandyBar in the Desert Resort. If you leave a Musharna with the Hidden Ability Telepathy at the Pokémon Day Care, you may find an Egg of a Munna with the same Hidden Ability. If you leave a Darmanitan with the Hidden Ability Zen Mode, you may find an Egg of a Darumaka with the Hidden Ability Inner Focus." There is a fine-print at the bottom of the page. "If the male Pokémon has a Hidden Ability, or if you leave a Pokémon with a Ditto, the Hidden Ability won't be passed on."
Just helping to confirm this with an official source/reference before more rumors spread. PKMN Soldier Berlioz 03:59, 27 April 2011 (UTC)

Shiny Pokémon

Pile ice cream!
Possible to have a list of what berries generate what ice cream in terms of scoop and stickiness? Luna Tiger * the Arc Toraph 15:17, 18 April 2011 (UTC)
- I made one back in October, and gave it to Serebii.
- Here it is, and here's the news page mentioning it was my data. I don't seem to have the original text files anymore but there you go. By the way there's also a scoop of ice cream with six stars in each stat (lol) but that never gets used. Bluesun 17:00, 18 April 2011 (UTC)

Genders
Has anyone else noticed that there are more male Pokémon than female. I've had about 4 females out of 20 Pokémon. Pikiwyn talk 19:36, 18 April 2011 (UTC)
- Interesting. Which Pokémon turned out male, and which turned out female? It could just be gender ratios at play, and the ones you caught were more likely to be male anyway. --AndyPKMN (talk) 00:15, 21 April 2011 (UTC)
- It depends on how you do in the games. tc²₆tc26 02:18, 21 April 2011 (UTC)
- No, it doesn't. When you enter the Island of Dreams, a list of Pokemon with predefined genders is sent to your computer. For some Pokemon you can even tell which gender they are by which minigame they want to play(!). Bluesun 15:18, 21 April 2011 (UTC)
I as well have noticed the severe lack of female Pokémon being generated in the Dream World. After building up 50, I had only 10 females. Since only female Pokémon with Hidden Abilities may be used to breed the Hidden Ability, this would seem intentional so as to reduce the possibility of some individual getting a female to breed and trade the Hidden Ability over the Global network. I wouldn't be surprised if they also put a deadlock on the offspring of a Pokémon with a Hidden Ability being female. Seems reasonable to me. Hidden Abilities are supposed to be special to have. If you could just breed it, it wouldn't be valuable anymore. PKMN Soldier Berlioz 04:04, 27 April 2011 (UTC)

- Well a loblolly is a tree. I suppose the name sounds like something a person could dream up. ...So's Shitan, too. Red sandalwood tree. Nice. Luna Tiger * the Arc Toraph 20:07, 22 April 2011 (UTC)

Dream Points
How exactly do you earn Dream Points, and where can you see how many you've collected? Cmlobue 01:45, 21 April 2011 (UTC)
- GL profile. Earned through games, watering plants, making a wish at the three and others. tc²₆tc26 02:18, 21 April 2011 (UTC)
The table of actions and how many Dream Points they award was taken from Serebii, correct? Has anyone actually confirmed these values? I ask because when you check your Dream Points in your profile, it never seems to end in single digits, so I wonder if the "1 point" per Item Swap is accurate or not. I believe someone else brought this up on the forum as well, so I thought I'd make a note of it here. If no one's confirmed these values personally, I can try to check my profile after performing certain actions to see if I can pinpoint if these values are correct. Ndoto 14:56, 22 April 2011 (UTC)
- Just as an update, I've definitely confirmed the Dream Points chart to be incorrect. I'm still collecting some data for some of the values I'm less sure of, but once I've finalized my findings, I'll update the chart in the article to reflect them. Ndoto 16:30, 26 April 2011 (UTC)
- I just played through today, recording nearly every action I took, as I've been doing for the past few times. According to the newly-current chart, I have gained 470 points today. However, my current point total is 3030--exactly +500 from last time (2530). In other words, I'm 30 points short. The only action I'm not 100% sure on is how many times I've swapped items, since I forgot I was recording that amidst my mad search for berries to water. I'm pretty sure I've done it at least twice...WAIT! I think I might have done it thrice! I remember swapping for a Pass Orb once, then swapping it away, but I ended up with one at the end, and I never found one on the island.
- Let's see...The first time I swapped, I got a Pass Orb. The second time, I swapped a Pass Orb for a Net Ball. And...the third time, I swapped...I swapped a Payapa Berry for another Pass Orb! This means I swapped 3 times!!
- Ergo!
- I have reason to believe that remaining 30 points comes from the three times I swapped items--10 points per swap! (If this is true, then wherever the chart was originally obtained most likely had a typo.) What say you of this theory? FerreTrip 18:35, 29 April 2011 (UTC)
- Did your point totals on the other days you'd recorded your actions match in line with what they should have been based on the chart? Do you recall swapping items on those days? The 30 point difference seems strangely out of place - do you know how many neighbors' berry patches you watered and how many games you played and succeeded at on Dream Island? Have you recorded data on days following this and have you noticed any other irregularities? I will resume tracking my own data for a while to try to see if I can notice anything out of the ordinary, but I was fairly heavy on the swapping (average of 12 times per session as I was purposefully trying to test swapping) and never noticed my total Dream Points increasing at all from this. There's a chance the extra 30 points could have come from a few berries that were watered without your recorded total being updated, or even just 1 berry patch and 1 minigame played that were missed in the recording of data. I'm not saying that you're wrong, mind you - just trying to determine if this was a one-off "fluke" in the data. We'll need to see if it holds up in subsequent trips to the Dream World to say for sure. Of course, the easiest testing method would be to simply enter the dream world, swap as many items as possible, and then log out without doing anything else. The only points that should then be gained are the 50 you gain every time you enter the Dream World. I may test that way tonight. Ndoto 16:23, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
- Hmm...Okay, today, I racked up a total of 510 points. Won 13 minigames, so that's 260; watered 20 plants, that's 200; entered the Dream World, that's 50. Assuming I get 0 points for the 11 items I swapped...50 + 260 = 310, + 200 = 510. So that fits. Also, I checked the day before that day's and found that, ignoring the item swapping, I got the right number of points. So I must have maybe won a minigame and watered a berry plant without recording. I'd say your chart's accurate, at least for now (who knows--they might change things up a bit sometime later on). FerreTrip 21:47, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
- I can confirm that item swapping doesn't give Dream Points. When the chart was published, I thought not getting Dream Points for swapping was out of place, so I tested it (checked points, made swap, checked points), and it does nothing. However, there is still the possibility that having others swap with you gives you points. --SnorlaxMonster 07:51, 3 May 2011 (UTC)
- I've double-checked that as well, and in fact had someone swap a number of items on my shelf while I was in the Dream World last night (went to shelf, went elsewhere, came back to shelf and at least 3 items had been swapped). I can confirm no points are gained when someone swaps with the items on your shelf (which is sad, because I really do think that would be a nice way of doing it to provide incentive to keep your shelves stocked with desirable items and not just trash). Ndoto 14:21, 3 May 2011 (UTC)

Pals
The article says that you can only visit Pals' houses, and that the house generated in the bottom right corner of the Dream Pal map is the player's Game Pal. However, I only have two Game Pals, and I have never seen either of them in that slot, and the only people I ever see there are randoms. Also, I can visit the houses of the random people who visit my house. In fact, Game Pals have no affect on the Dream World at all; Game Pals belong on the Pokémon Global Link page. --SnorlaxMonster 11:00, 21 April 2011 (UTC)
- Sorry, a bit of an assumption on my part since I have to many people on my Pal Pad to remember everyone. Also, I forgot about the mat. Just fix it :D tc²₆tc26 11:02, 21 April 2011 (UTC)
- Used to be that Game Pals did turn up in the bottom right slot, when they showed up in every slot in the old Japanese-only version, but yeah now it seems you can't visit Game Pals at all (unless they're also Dream Pals, I've heard). Bluesun 15:16, 21 April 2011 (UTC)
Question
"Upon entering the Island of Dreams a certain number of times, players will start to find nothing on the island" is that until the next visit or forever? Pikiwyn talk 14:23, 22 April 2011 (UTC)
- Until the next visit. Players can perform about 4-5 runs through the Island of Dreams before they can no longer encounter Pokémon or items, and then upon the next Game Sync, they can start fresh. Ndoto 14:51, 22 April 2011 (UTC)
Breeding Mechanics
Regarding the Breeding Mechanics section, it mentions passing on the Hidden Ability of a female Dream World Pokémon, but makes no mention of male Pokémon and the Dream World-only moves. Can these be passed on via breeding at all, or are they exclusive only to Pokémon that are actually found in the Dream World? Either way, should a note of that be made in the article? Find the missing <Pokémon>!
The game we're calling "Find the missing <Pokémon>!" is called "Pokémon Seek" when you fail. Should we change the section header? --SnorlaxMonster 10:18, 24 April 2011 (UTC)
- In fact, "Let's play with a Flying Pokémon!" is named "Sky Race" when the Pokémon request that you play it. --SnorlaxMonster 10:31, 24 April 2011 (UTC)
- They all have shorter snappier names, I noticed them looking through the .xml files, but since they weren't shown anywhere near as prominent as the current titles I didn't add them. I'll go check what they were. Bluesun 18:51, 24 April 2011 (UTC)
- Here they are:
<string id="y_ag_1">I'm sorry you didn't succeed at Ice Cream Scoop.</string> <string id="y_ag_3">I'm sorry you didn't complete the Sky Race.</string> <string id="y_ag_5">I'm sorry you didn't succeed at Pokémon Seek.</string> <string id="y_ag_7">I'm sorry you didn't succeed at Wailord's Water Spout.</string>
- Also, I have access to the Dream World text in all seven languages, so if you want any worldwide names of anything, just let me know what on my talkpage. One notable exception however is Décor. Bluesun 19:11, 24 April 2011 (UTC)
Score
Is it yet known whether the Score for your Mini-game completions go to anything? Like a score board, high scores, something? It currently feels too shallow to bother putting a score to your performance. Just need to hit the Target Line then stop is really it...- unsigned comment from PKMN Soldier Berlioz (talk • contribs)
- Well I know for a fact it goes towards your Dream Points. As for a high score board, I don't know. ★Jo the Marten★ ಠ_ಠ♥ 04:48, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
- I'm pretty sure it affects the moves of your Pokémon. If you perform poorly, it only has common moves; if you perform well, it has the more common special move; if you perform very well, it has the rarer special move. --SnorlaxMonster 08:04, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
- I wish there were a better way to test this. My first few days, I did pretty horribly in all of the mini-games (just barely passing the target but with low scores) and I still got Pokémon that knew their special moves. Conversely, I've done really well in some minigames (>60,000 points) and only ever seemed to manage to get Pokémon with their regular moves. I have a feeling the "scoring better gives better odds of special moves" thing is more rumor than fact, but other than gathering a large data pool of resulting Pokémon from really good scores versus really bad scores, I'm not really sure how to prove it. (And even then, it would depend on whether the amount of Pokémon with special moves after obtaining high scores is actually statistically significant enough to determine the scoring to be the cause...) Ndoto 14:13, 28 April 2011 (UTC)
- I'm as certain as I can be that the score affects whether the pokemon gets a heart icon after the game. Whether the heart icon is directly connected to special moves is a different issue, and I don't even remember which moves to be looking for. PLA 16:34, 28 April 2011 (UTC)
- I've always seen the heart icon anytime I've passed a mini-game, and the one time I didn't pass, it only had a musical note. However, that pokemon wasn't befriended because I didn't pass the mini-game. --Zoen 12:11, 4 May 2011 (UTC)
- That's interesting. I usually don't see any icon if I don't score well. As the Dream World hasn't been open long, however, the sample size is not large. PLA 07:55, 10 May 2011 (UTC)

Pokémon to the Mini-game
I've obtained enough data to believe without a shadow of a doubt that every Pokémon has its own mini-game assigned to it. ex. Lickitung is always doing a Pokémon Search. I'll begin adding them as I see them. PKMN Soldier Berlioz 04:30, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
- Doesn't gender also play a role? I recall hearing that you can (sometimes? always?) determine the gender of a Pokémon by the ganme you're asked to play. Bikini Miltank 04:43, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
- I've gotten the same Pokémon to do all sorts of different games. I don't keep track of it though. But I'll keep an eye out. ★Jo the Marten★ ಠ_ಠ♥ 04:48, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
- Right. Here's a list of the main forest ones I made back from the Japanese Dream World.
- Key: Game: Pokemon which want this gameGen/der.
- Serve: 161M/F, 174M/F, 83M/F, 403M/F, 270F, 399M/F.
- Search: 191M/F, 187M/(and probably F), 77M/(and probably F), 179M/F, 108M/F, 115F.
- Bounce: 43M/F, 69M/F, 114M/F, 276M/F, 270M, 283M/F.
- Fly: 84M/F, 32M/29F, 234M/F, 261M/F, 19M/F, 102M/F.
- I haven't investigated any of the other areas in the same depth though, and don't know if it has changed for the international site.- unsigned comment from bluesun (talk • contribs)

Whuh?
I am SO confused. How do you get multiple Pokémon on a friend board? Every way I can tell it could work doesn't. Since the Dream Bridge disappears after you make a wish, You can't make multiple. Also, any Pokémon you wish for comes with the Pokémon you sent, so you can't do that. EnosShayrem 20:22, 1 May 2011 (UTC)
- Maybe events. Once the eeveelutions are released we'll know how that works. PLA 21:26, 1 May 2011 (UTC)
- Click the tab 'Pokémon sent' or whatever it's called to see the last 49-50 Pokémon you've sent to your DS. Also yeah, when you have an event ready to be sent they show alongside Pokémon you've wished for. Bluesun 23:34, 1 May 2011 (UTC)
More Dream World infos
Noticed some tidbits of info missing, some could be considered tips or hints, but I'm not fully sure how to word these in adding them to the sections.
In Pokemon Seek, the timer does pause if you find the wrong Pokemon, but the timer does NOT pause when you "Listen Carefully". If you're skilled enough and know what sections would potentially hide a Pokemon, you can easily clear 3 fields within the 4-5 second period that Listen Carefully uses up when clicked.
In Wailord's Water Spout, ANY contact with a ball increases its lamp counter. If done right, a launch can cause a Pokemon to bounce between two balls rapidly as it ascends, causing the lamp counter(s) to quickly light up, thus quickly increasing your multiplier. This is only useful if you care about score, however, and as far as I know, doesn't influence any of the mechanics in the Dream World.
In Sky Race, water symbols give 300 points and Speed Up bonuses give 1000 points. When the speed meter is max, water symbols give 450 points and matching 3 symbols give an additional 1500 points.
In Ice Cream Scoop, it may be possible to lose ice cream after its been stacked by dropping a large scoop on the stack. I've noticed the ice cream wobbles and shifts a little before flashing as if it had been set again.
I've seen some people with 5 rows of garden space, but not entirely sure when that becomes unlocked as I've just got my 4th garden row.
Island of Dreams, you can go through about 4 or 5 times before nothing appears, and staying in the Dream World without waking up your Pokemon will not reset this value, nor will it allow you to go back to the Island of Dreams if you made a wish. You have to wake your Pokemon and put it to sleep again in order to be able to find Pokemon and items in the Island of Dreams again. --Zoen 12:05, 4 May 2011 (UTC)
- I just want to add that the one hour time limit doesn't seem to be set in stone. I just tried it, and started playing at 2:10 AM EDT. I am now getting messages saying "An hour has passed since you started playing. It is now 3:28 AM EDT. the first five messages had both the x in the corner, and the "Return to Dream World" button. Then, the sixth message omitted the buttons, instead telling me I either HAD to wake up my Pokemon, or continue sleeping. Does anybody know what "stops" the timer? Like if there's a loading screen, does it stop the 1 hour timer, or not? --Tails0600 07:31, 5 May 2011 (UTC)
- It doesn't, the timer is started shortly before the main Dream World video finishes loading and from then on nothing stops it, and it's counted server-side. I don't know how it chooses whether to give you the 'Return to Dream World' button or not but the amount of times it comes up seems to differ wildly. Bluesun 11:54, 5 May 2011 (UTC)
- Also, the trips to the Island of Dreams seems to be per area rather than trips total. Just a moment ago I had 6 trips to the Island of Dreams without having everything disappear: 2 of those trips were to the forest and the other 4 trips were to the sky.--Zoen 03:55, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
- Well, just disproved that statement. Total trips allowed to the Island of Dreams is 6 per day, regardless of the area visited. After 6, nothing will show up.--Zoen 13:20, 7 May 2011 (UTC)

Logging in for points
I tried logging in today to see how many points I'd really earn. For logging in, I got 30, and that was without tucking in a Pokémon. Maybe the other 20's for tucking in one? tc²₆tc26 11:03, 5 May 2011 (UTC)
Waking.
There doesn't appear to be a way to wake a pokemon without the website, does there? It's interesting because the Walker wasn't strictly needed to restore the absent pokemon in HG/SS thanks to the safety feature. PLA 07:49, 10 May 2011 (UTC)
- You can do it just via Game Sync, but it does seem that you can't remove your Pokémon while PGL is down. --SnorlaxMonster 08:01, 10 May 2011 (UTC)
Dream Island Areas and Badges
I edited the Areas section and added the badge number requisite for each one. My main source is my own experience, I've played for almost a month, I reached the 2500 points in the first week, and I've never visited a new area, not even once. Not when the chance was 50%, and not when it was 66.6% (5000 points). I even reached 7500 points yesterday and found new Pokemon in the Pleasant forest, but again, no new area. With 6 trips to the dream Island each day, if we start to count from when I reached 2500 points, I visited the Dream Island 126 times, and never got to a new area. I started to compare my account with other people, and the only difference I found was the number of badges, I had only 3 so far. So I went and defeated Elesa, and guess what? Windswept Sky on the first try. Secondary sources are Japanese blogs like: http://isami444.blog106.fc2.com/blog-entry-157.html http://ameblo.jp/juy1004/entry-10744609539.html Plus: http://detail.chiebukuro.yahoo.co.jp/qa/question_detail/q1452044824 http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20110428000143AAXesZ7 --Etopen 04:30, 12 May 2011 (UTC)
- I would say this is correct. --SnorlaxMonster 08:01, 12 May 2011 (UTC)
