Skitty (Japanese: エネコ Eneco) is a Normal-type Pokémon, found on rare occasion along Hoenn's Route 116.
Skitty has the Ability Cute Charm, which has a 30% chance of inflicting an Attract condition on foes using a direct attack on the Pokémon.
Skitty evolves into Delcatty when exposed to a Moon Stone.

Special abilities
Skitty, along with Glameow, is able to wield the Assist attack, which allows Skitty to use a random attack that's known by any other Pokémon on its team.
Behavior
Skitty are fascinated by and will chase anything that moves (a personality trait that is found in "real-world" kittens). A Skitty will even chase its own tail.
Habitat
Skitty can be found living in trees in forests.

May catches a Skitty in I Feel Skitty. It wins a contest in Game Winning Assist.
In Delcatty Got Your Tongue?, May meets a Grand Festival winner named Dr. Abby whose Skitty is shown in a flashback.
Battle Pike Queen Lucy had a pet Skitty in Queen of the Serpentine.
In the manga
Skitty was one of Ruby's first Pokémon alongside Poochyena and Ralts, it later on, evolved into a Delcatty.

Skitty is based on a kitten with its tail resembling foxtail grass.
Name origin
Skitty's name is a combination of skittish and kitty. Its Japanese name refers to 狗尾草 enokorogusa, foxtail grass, a type of plant that Skitty's tail resembles, and 猫 neko, cat.
