Mega Punch (Japanese: メガトンパンチ Megaton Punch) is a damage-dealing Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation I.

It appears to be a counterpart to Mega Kick, as the type and names are the same or very similar. Both moves have also had relative exclusivity to the Hitmons.

Trivia

• Prior to Generation IV, only Generation I Pokémon are able to learn Mega Punch by leveling up.
• Geodude's family is unable to learn Mega Punch through breeding directly. It is possible to transfer another of Geodude's family that knows Mega Punch via TM in Generation I to Generation II games to breed with it, in order to obtain a Geodude with Mega Punch. This move is accessible again in Generation III by move tutor, and this method can be used again from Generation IV onwards.
