Happy Luck is one of the four 2010 World Championships decks. It was built by one of the senior finalists, Mychael Bryan.

Strategy

"Happy Luck" focuses on quickly hitting hard for no energy. Gyarados's attack "Tail Revenge" does 30 damage times the amount of Magikarp in the discard pile. Felicity's Drawing allows you to draw up to 4 cards while discarding Magikarp, which sets up the "Tail Revenge" attack. Sableye allows you to go first as well as discard Magikarp, and Luxray GL LV. X's Poké-Power "Bright Look" forces the opponent to switch his or her Active Pokémon with one of their Benched Pokémon of your choice. Poké Turn makes it possible to put up to 6 damage counters (without attacking) on your opponents Pokémon with two Crobat G and take off Luxray GL LV. X to use Bright Look again. If everything goes well, set up can take a minimum of 2 turns.
