Release information
This card was released in the English Base Set, originating from the Japanese Expansion Pack. It was later reprinted in the English Base Set 2 expansion and the English Legendary Collection expansion.
In many English prints of this card, the HP symbol and the number 50 were in the wrong placement (HP 50 instead of 50 HP). The error appears in the Base Set and Base Set 2 prints, but not the Legendary Collection print.
Trivia
Origin
Confuse Ray is a move in the Pokémon games that Vulpix can learn. This card's English Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Red and Blue, though it is slightly reworded. The Japanese entry comes from Pokémon Red and Green.
