Growing Berries
Berries can be planted in any empty patch of soft soil. The soil that the Berry was planted in will start out dry and can be watered by the player, the soil may dry up over time depending on the mulch and Berry used. Weeds and Pokémon may appear around the Berry tree which changes the amount of Berries depending on whether they are dealt with.
Mulch
- Main article: Mulch
Mulch can be made in the composters around the Berry field and has at least three varieties depending on the three Berries put in the composter
Mutation
Mutation will sometimes occur when two different types of Berries are placed next to each other. These are recorded in-game once you have discovered one mutation. Mulch can increase chances.
