The Pokémon Village (Japanese: ポケモンの村 Pokémon Village) is a place in southern Kalos where Pokémon live in hiding from people due to numerous reasons. The Unknown Dungeon is located here.
Wulfric, who has befriended the village's Pokémon, occasionally leaves the Snowbelle Gym to come here.
Trash cans
There are five trash cans among the field of yellow flowers in Pokémon Village. Their locations are:
- Three along the south edge of the village, ranging between the tire and the river
- One west of the tire
- One northwest of the empty western canopy
If one of these trash cans is shaking, a Pokémon or an item can be found inside it.
The middle trash can along the south edge of the village will contain a Pokémon or item every day, while the remaining four trash cans may only contain a Pokémon or item once a week, on Thursdays. On Thursdays, only three of those four trash cans will shake, while the last will remain empty. Both types of trash cans also contain different Pokémon and items (meaning, even on Thursdays, the daily trash can will contain the same types of Pokémon and items as it does every other day).
Once a Pokémon or item has been found in a trash can, that trash can will not shake again for the rest of the day. Exactly what will be in a trash can is not set until it is opened, so soft resetting may yield a different item or Pokémon.

Pokémon Adventures
The Pokémon Village first appeared in Scizor Defends. After failing to end life in Kalos with the ultimate weapon, Team Flare relocated to the Pokémon Village in order to lay low from public view, as their efforts to pin the destruction caused by the weapon's blast on the Kalos Gym Leaders and X's group did not fool every person in the region. Later, Team Flare began kidnapping Pokémon from the village and putting them on the stone pillars that lined Route 10 in order to begin recharging the ultimate weapon. This earned them the anger of Mewtwo, the village's protector.
After learning where Team Flare had moved to, X and his friends traveled to the village in order to stop Team Flare. On their way there, X and his friends were attacked by Xerosic, who aimed to get on Lysandre's good side again. After defeating Xerosic, X and Blue arrived at the village in Yveltal Steals, only to find Lysandre locked in battle with Mewtwo. Blue recognized Mewtwo, having once teamed up with it at the Sevii Islands, but it still attacked him and X. However, it suddenly started attacking Lysandre again and Mega Evolved into Mega Mewtwo Y, causing Lysandre to realize that its Trainer was nearby. In response, he called Essentia and her Zygarde to the site to fight Mewtwo. Mewtwo's Trainer, Blaine, then entered the battlefield as well, having reunited with Mewtwo at the village sometime before. Being a former scientist of Team Rocket, he swore to stop Team Flare's use of science for evil. Although Mewtwo's Mega Evolution was undone during the fight, Blaine was able to Mega Evolve it again into Mega Mewtwo X by switching its held Mega Stone, thanks to the unique bond between him and Mewtwo.
During the battle, X discovered Essentia's true identity as Emma, and, with the help of Cassius, who had noticed the commotion caused by the battle and rushed to the site, managed to convince her to turn against Lysandre. However, before she could have Zygarde attack Lysandre, he stole Zygarde's Poké Ball from her, giving him direct control over the Order Pokémon. Using his, Y, Blue, Korrina, and Diantha's Key Stones, X was able to Mega Evolve all of his Mega Evolving Pokémon at the same time, and sent them to attack Zygarde.
Meanwhile, Xerneas and Yveltal, who were fighting over on Route 18, knew that Zygarde would only feel the need to use its power if their activity alerted it to protect Kalos's ecosystem. As such, they chose to return to their dormant forms, so that Zygarde would have no reason to remain active. As a result of them falling into slumber and X attacking it, Zygarde started disintegrating, and soon, it disappeared entirely. Lysandre, who had been standing on top of Zygarde, fell onto a pile rocks and was seriously injured, damaging his spinal cord. Malva, who had been battling Diantha, fell onto Lysandre and received lesser injuries. She revealed to Diantha that she had been planning to betray Lysandre the moment Team Flare's goal was achieved and said she would rather die than be pitied by her.
