Korrina challenging the player at the Tower of Mastery
Korrina appears in Pokémon X and Y as a Gym Leader from Shalour City. Trainers who defeat Korrina will receive the Rumble Badge, along with TM98 (Power-Up Punch). According to the television show Gym Freaks and an NPC at Café Action!, she is a PR Video star. It also states that she dresses up in costumes; her magnificent legs able to shatter cave rocks into pieces using her axe-kick move.
Korrina first appears on Route 5, when one of her Lucario comes up to the player while she is doing some special training. She notes about how Lucario has taken a liking to the player's aura, then introduces herself to the player as the Shalour City Gym Leader. She then appears in Geosenge Town, where she challenges the player to a battle with her two Lucario.
After arriving in Shalour City, Korrina can be found in the Tower of Mastery with her grandfather Gurkinn, the Mega Evolution guru. Once the player wins the battle for the Mega Ring against their rival, Korrina will go to her Gym for a battle.
After battling her at the Gym, she will immediately invite the player to a rematch atop the Tower of Mastery. There, Korrina gives the player the Mega Ring. After that, the Lucario that had become close to the player temporarily joins their team, and the two have a one-on-one battle, using just their Lucario, both holding a Lucarionite. Win or lose, the player has the option of getting the Lucario that joined them for the battle.
Once the player obtains rank of Marquis/Marchioness at the Battle Chateau, Korrina and the other Gym Leaders will be able to be battled there for rematches. There, Korrina will possess the rank of Marchioness.

Korrina debuted in Lucky Lucario Was Here. She first appeared in Santalune City after being called there by Viola. As soon as she arrived, she helped X defeat Celosia, a Team Flare scientist, and retrieve a Kangaskhanite she stole. Later, Korrina gave Tierno a pair of Roller Skates as a gift. Upon learning X received his Mega Ring without the proper succession ceremony, Korrina refused to acknowledge X as a true Mega Evolution Successor and angrily left without telling him more about it.
In Trevenant Pokes, Korrina returned to the Tower of Mastery, where she demanded that Gurkinn explain why he gave X a Mega Ring. Before Gurkinn could answer, the tower was attacked by a Trevenant used by Essentia, another Team Flare member. Korrina and Gurkinn fought the villain, only for Essentia to reveal she was distracting them while her Trevenant covered the tower in vines, trapping them inside. In order to prevent the secrets of Mega Evolution from falling into the wrong hands, Korrina reluctantly helped Gurkinn activate the Tower of Mastery's self-destruct mechanism, destroying the building and allowing them to escape.
In Connecting with Gardevoir, Korrina met Diantha, one of Gurkinn's students. Diantha led Korrina to a nearby river where they found Gurkinn under attack by Chalmers, a Team Flare Admin. Once Gurkinn was rescued, he, Korrina, and Diantha used their Mega-Evolved Pokémon to defeat Chalmers. Afterward, Diantha joined Korrina and Gurkinn and they set off to keep the Legendary Pokémon Xerneas and Yveltal out of Team Flare's clutches.
In Tying Trevenant, Korrina, Gurkinn, and Diantha helped X and his friends fight Team Flare on Route 9 to stop them from taking Xerneas's tree form. Gurkinn helped X take on Essentia, Diantha was challenged by Malva, while Korrina went ahead to keep Celosia from transporting Xerneas to Team Flare's base. After a tough battle, Korrina's Lucario defeated Celosia's Aegislash, but fainted from exhaustion afterward. As she confidently proclaimed victory, Korrina failed to notice Celosia's lurking behind her and launching an attack. Later, X and his friends found Korrina's unconsciouus body, where they learned that Celosia successfully took Xerneas as well as taking the Key Stone in Korrina's Mega Glove.
In Quilladin Stands, Korrina was taken to a hospital in Laverre City to recover from her injuries. In Floette Returns, three months after Team Flare's defeat, Korrina was revealed to have fully recuperated. X was asked by Korrina to come to Shalour City to become an official Mega Evolution Successor. Once X arrived at the city, however, Korrina was upset to see that he did not bring his friends for the succession ceremony. She then had him call for his friends before proceeding with the ceremony.
