An Aroma Lady (Japanese: アロマなおねえさん Aroma Lady) is a type of Pokémon Trainer that debuted in the Generation III games. They are generally depicted as young women surrounded by swirling flower petals.

They tend to specialize in Grass-type Pokémon, especially Roselia and its evolutionary relatives, as well as other Pokémon known for their smells. Their introductions often mention scents or aromas.

An Aroma Lady with the appearance of the ones found in Sinnoh made a cameo appearance in the opening sequence of Arceus and the Jewel of Life.

Emerald arc

In Verily Vanquishing Vileplume I, Aroma Lady Rose (Japanese: ヤヨイ Yayoi) was one of the Trainers that traveled to the Battle Frontier to participate in the Battle Dome tournament. In the fifth battle of the first round, she faced Emerald but was defeated.

Diamond & Pearl arc

In Bombastic Bibarel & Heroic Hippopotas, an Aroma Lady appeared at the Seven Stars Restaurant.

Platinum arc

An Aroma Lady appeared as a background character in Deprogramming Porygon-Z, where she was part of a group of people who entered the Battle Frontier after Palmer had his assistants open the gates. Another Aroma Lady was seen amongst the people waiting in line for the Battle Castle.

Black 2 & White 2 arc

Maya, a student at the Aspertia City Trainers' School, is based on the Aroma Lady Trainer class from Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen.

Vileplume is Rose's only known Pokémon. It was up against Emerald's Dusclops and lost.

Vileplume's only known move is Giga Drain.

Rose has at least two other Pokémon, as she participated in the Battle Dome tournament, which required participants to have three Pokémon on hand.

An Aroma Lady in the Seven Stars Restaurant was shown to have a Cherrim.

Aroma Lady was introduced as a Supporter card in the Pokémon Trading Card Game during the English Sword & Shield Series (the Japanese Sword & Shield Era). It was first released in the Japanese Eevee Heroes subset before debuting in English in the Evolving Skies expansion, with artwork by Megumi Mizutani. It was also released as a Full Art card and Secret card in the same Japanese and English expansions, with artwork by En Morikura. It allows the player to attach draw two cards then heal their Active Pokémon's Special Conditions.
