== Hello ==
Hi, thanks for adding my question to [[Bulbapedia:Spading]], but I actually wanted to add a little more information to the question on the page. Am I allowed to edit what you already posted there, or should I write something below that?

If you are new to my talk page and want to post a message to me, read my talk page rules first. Don't worry, it just take a minute, and they are not too strict.

If you are here because I post a message in your talk page, and your going to reply here, STOP. Go back to your talk page and reply there.

Hello! Welcome to my talk page. Feel free to leave a message. It is best to leave a message to me between 10:30 AM and 8:00 PM. My time in my country is 18:19 (13:00=1:00PM, 14:00=2:00PM, and vice versa). The time shown here is sometimes incorrect, so I suggest you to do a null edit before messaging me, whether the time is correct or not to make my time correct. To do a null edit, go to "edit this page" and save without any changes. Don't worry, that edit is actually not saved, and it will not alert me. You can also purge by clicking the clock instead, but if it persists, try the null edit method.

By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Re:About the edit I did in the Mew glitch article

Hi Pokéfan95. When you escape from a long-range Trainer, the A button is still 'half functionable' even though pressing A on a sign will have no effect as it can be used to make NPCs turn, but they will not talk to you. For some reason, unlike other text boxes, even after escaping from the long-range Trainer you can still bring up the "(player) turned on the PC" message when you press A in front of the PC. I'm unsure why this is an exception but it is. Here is a section of one of my videos showing this in action. Thanks for asking me. I wanted to put more information in the summary but there wasn't enough space. Chickasaurus (talk) 09:12, 2 April 2015 (UTC)

Using "you"

Just a heads up, please avoid using "you" when you edit mainspace pages, as this is unprofessional. Thanks! Tiddlywinks (talk) 09:38, 3 April 2015 (UTC)

Warning users about preview button

Hi, when you want to warn users to use the preview button to prevent making multiple edits, instead of typing a whole message, you can just use {{subst:Preview button}}. This gives the whole message, and evens signs by itself. But remember to use subst: with it. Thanks! → signed comment from PikaTepig999 04:09, 7 April 2015 (UTC)

Ok, thanks for that code! That will help me in the future. Pokéfan95 (talk) 04:15, 7 April 2015 (UTC)

Edit Summary

Please keep your edit summaries clean, don't use expletives or rude language that may offend others. Thank you.--ForceFire 02:39, 9 April 2015 (UTC)

I am sorry. I know someone will write this in my talk page. Look here: Talk:Nero. My edit summary is not intentional. I am using an Ipad Safari, and I accidentally touched the Enter button, making my edit saved I am not angry that my opinion failed. --~~ThePokémonFanSince1995~~-- 02:44, 9 April 2015 (UTC)
That's okay. Also, I think it would've just been better if you'd respond here rather than making a new section on Nero's talk page.--ForceFire 03:07, 9 April 2015 (UTC)
Sorry to barge into this discussion, but I do want to note that Pokéfan95 made their section prior to you creating this section. (Granted, I can see why it might not be the right place, unless you assume they were making the section to correct their summary as you were deleting it due to the time being the same, but there was no section to respond to at the time that Pokéfan95 made their section.) - unsigned comment from Super goku (talkcontribs)
Yeah, noticed that whilst removing the section. But I think it would've been better to go to my talk page rather than Nero's.--ForceFire 04:00, 9 April 2015 (UTC)

Re:Try this./Subukan mo ito

Hi, thanks for the info about it, though I'm not very fluent in Filipino as my friends I can still understand, I'm just not that great iun speaking it, but thanks anyway :) Animaltamer705:24, 14 April 2015 (UTC)

My Pal Park edit undone by you

I was merely drawing attention to the image in question and Abcboy reinstated the {{Bad image}} tag on the image. Seems like the tag I originally put should be put back on Pal Park? --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) 22:02, 17 April 2015 (UTC)

He used the same template as you used, but his reason is different than you. Abcboy's reason is: "JPG artifacts, should be recaptured as a PNG". What you say is that the photo must be .jpg, not .png. In a simple way, the photo still have JPG artifacts even though it is converted into PNG. --~~ThePokémonFanSince1995~~-- 01:02, 18 April 2015 (UTC)
That is not what I said at all. To clarify my statement of "JPEG saved as a PNG", the original image was saved as a JPEG (unknown source) and that JPEG was converted to PNG preserving the JPEG artifacts (the current image on the archives). --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) 08:26, 18 April 2015 (UTC)
If that is your point, you gotta make your reason a bit more understanding. I just thought that the image must be .jpg. Sorry. Atleast Abcboy fixed it. --~~ThePokémonFanSince1995~~-- 11:09, 18 April 2015 (UTC)
Even though it doesn't really matter so much now because Abcboy made it easier to understand why the image was unsatisfactory when translated, but since I can tell that English is not your native language, would "JPEG converted to PNG" translate better than "JPEG saved as a PNG"? I just want to know so I can improve my communication skills with non-native English speakers. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) 22:42, 19 April 2015 (UTC)
"JPEG saved as a PNG" is better, as "JPEG converted to PNG" made me think more that it must be saved as JPG. --~~ThePokémonFanSince1995~~-- 04:00, 20 April 2015 (UTC)

Filipino Template

Hi Pokéfan! Thanks for making the template. But you didn't have to message me with translation. I know how to speak and understand English vocabulary efficiently. I felt a bit offended. But, I still thank you. Just please don't do that again. OA ka naman kasi eh... Hindi joke lang. No problem bro! Phiraptor28 (talk) 03:52, 18 April 2015 (UTC)

Ah, sorry if I offended you a bit. It is not my intention to offend you, because the English translation is for others that will read my message, while the Filipino translation is for Filipinos. Have a nice day! --~~ThePokémonFanSince1995~~-- 11:11, 18 April 2015 (UTC)
OK. :) Phiraptor28 (talk) 00:57, 19 April 2015 (UTC)

Templates

The point of requiring templates to be made in the userspace is so that you don't use the template on the mainspace before it can be approved. glikglak 22:43, 21 April 2015 (UTC)

Area Images

Just a heads-up, I uploaded Diamond Crater and Pearl Marsh area images a few minutes ago, and Black Realm was my first successful upload yesterday. Pattyman already helped with uploads of White Ruins, Fairy Land, Dark Land, Origin Hideaway, Starlight Islands, Distortion Land, Plasma Tundra, and Legend Terrain (before I was autoconfirmed at Archives); Origin Hideaway and Legend Terrain are already on the articles in my userspace (Origin is pretty much ready, but I wanted to update images on the existing mainspace articles before moving it) while the other three will be added to the articles for those areas in my userspace. That means nine still have to go on articles.

I see now that you got Ruby Volcano and Gold Plateau; I was just about to upload Gold Plateau myself and noticed that, so I'll just upload Silver Isles right now. After that, do you want to get the three starters and Sapphire Sea? I'm stalling my game as I just got Bastion of Beginnings Special a couple of hours ago and caught my Arceus, but going to go Plate hunting and also try to get Mew with the best possible odds of it appearing; I took the Silver Isles image before that. I don't see an issue with some stages having stars as it also shows the fact that there are different levels of stages, so just the quick set of snapshots should be fine in the case of the last four. May I however suggest renaming the two images you added to match the others? "Gold Plateau Rumble World" and "Ruby Volcano Rumble World" matches the other upload names and should also help you find the other 12 (including Silver Isles here) if you want to add the ones for articles already in mainspace; I'll do any other modifications to the image files and image tags later so everything is consistent. CycloneGU (talk) 07:35, 1 May 2015 (UTC)

Actually, I changed my mind; we should use PNG, so I'm uploading a replacement Gold Plateau at the same form of file location. Ruby Volcano is therefore still needed. I've been posting them to my Miiverse and grabbing the pictures that way since we can do that! CycloneGU (talk) 07:39, 1 May 2015 (UTC)
Updating this: all images and pages currently available have been added and mainspaced. Now looking at others I've added to Archives for using in places. CycloneGU (talk) 20:53, 1 May 2015 (UTC)
Well, thanks for helping. And yes, my uploads must be PNG, but I can't use my computer right now, as I am using my Super Smash Bros. for 3DS. But I will try to help. And I accept to rename my pictures, because I am in a hurry (because my 3DS battery is going to be 0%), so I didn't make it a somewhat good name. I am also focusing in raising my Adventure rank, so I can't buy the balloons also now. And I don't prefer to purchase Jewels, so can you do the job for me please? I am still young to purchase those (and I am sure that my parents won't alllow me) Jewels. I will also convert the uploads to PNG if I can now use my computer. And sorry for my bad English! I am not a native speaker of English, though... Anyways, thanks! --~~ThePokémonFanSince1995~~-- 00:56, 2 May 2015 (UTC)
I have a better idea for screenshots. Post to Miiverse. See this post which you will see is identical to a picture I uploaded.
The how-to: open up something in the game, or get to a battle (for instance, let's say you find Entei). Go to the Home menu, effectively pausing the game. You go right into the Rumble World community provided your Miiverse is set up. Type a post - something like "Going to Silver Isles to catch a whopper Qwilfish" - include the screenshot by tapping the upper-right corner and selecting it, and then post. Once it's posted, find a friendly computer or laptop and open Paint, visit your Miiverse profile's activity feed, and drag the image into Paint by grabbing it and scrolling it over the window; there's the keyboard shortcut to change windows (Alt-Tab) that you can use as well so you don't have to shrink windows, as that works while you're dragging. Once the image is in Paint, you can save to the desired file format and you have a PNG. =) The same thing works if you get something in-game that you think would be great for uploading to the site; pause to Home, post on Miiverse, and create a Paint of it. (You have to drag into Paint or another program - Paint's easy enough - since you can't save the image properly in the browser; you can't select the file type and have to use another program, anyway, so I do it to save time.)
If you don't have access to a computer, then let me know. I can grab the images for you and convert them for uploading. Doesn't matter what stars and bosses are there; I'll just label the Pokémon like I have in the pages from the Gold and Silver Balloons and onwards. We already include the Pokémon categories for whoever's in the shot at Archives, anyway! I did take your idea of referencing the Balloon Stop in the caption and implement that, however, so thanks for that! CycloneGU (talk) 06:12, 2 May 2015 (UTC)
Oh, I forgot the printscreen button method! Thanks for making me remember it! I will do that next time when I am uploading screenshots. And I have access to my computer. --~~ThePokémonFanSince1995~~-- 07:47, 2 May 2015 (UTC)
When a new Ruby is uploaded, go ahead and request the other to be deleted at Archives. I'll follow up on categorization and captions, so just do what you can. =) Do you have all of Sapphire Sea and the three starter Balloons? Everything beyond that is taken care of. Also, I wasn't talking about Printscreen; try grabbing the image on my post and you can drag the image around. That gets the whiole thing into Paint without having to crop. Takes five seconds to drag and save. =) CycloneGU (talk) 15:23, 2 May 2015 (UTC)

Japanese name

Whoa there. It's still just a proposal. Don't go changing everything just yet. --SnorlaxMonster 13:42, 4 May 2015 (UTC)

Ah, ok ok. I will just hide them (still retaining {{Character undubbed}}). --~~ThePokémonFanSince1995~~-- 13:44, 4 May 2015 (UTC)

Characters of the day

Per standing Bulbapedia style conventions, characters of the day do not get infoboxes on their articles. Unless your Dr. Akihabara page has some other proposed improvement, the page is unnecessary. - Kogoro - Talk to me - 04:38, 7 May 2015 (UTC)

Ok. I understand. You can delete the two subpages I created. (Dr. Akihabara, Rocket Scout) --~~ThePokémonFanSince1995~~-- 05:06, 7 May 2015 (UTC)
Just to note, use of {{red link}} isn't necessary for links to pages within the User: namespace. Only links to non-existing mainspace articles will result in additional entries to the wanted pages. - Kogoro - Talk to me - 09:36, 7 May 2015 (UTC)
Okay! --~~ThePokémonFanSince1995~~-- 09:37, 7 May 2015 (UTC)

Talk pages

Hi, I know you just want to help others, but could you please hold back on posting in talk pages. Some of them just look like you are intruding in on a conversation. This isn't really a warning, more of a "could you not" type of message.--ForceFire 03:27, 10 May 2015 (UTC)

Also, going forward, please leave staff-related matters, such as username changes, to staff only. Username changes may only be done by Editorial Board members and I really don't appreciate you butting in and speaking for me on my talk page when the decision is not yours to make — this is a matter between me, the other Editorial Board members and JasonL only. I don't mean to discourage you from wanting to coach other users with their editing, but I suggest you review the talk page policy and the warning policy to familiarize yourself with talk page etiquette and which issues that should be left to staff to deal with. Thank you. --ZestyCactus 04:08, 10 May 2015 (UTC)
Ok. I won't do that again. --~~ThePokémonFanSince1995~~-- 09:13, 10 May 2015 (UTC)

Dub names

I watch with closed captioning. That's what they label their names as. Technickal (talk) 12:31, 10 May 2015 (UTC)

Moving other user's pages

Hello, if you are going to move a page from the mainspace to the userspace, move it to the userspace of the user who created it. Not yours. Doing that essentially implies that you made it and is in your ownership. Thank you.--ForceFire 03:58, 12 May 2015 (UTC)

Sticking your nose in other peoples business

Can you tone it done and also refrain fro getting into other peoples conversation or business? It's entirely rude. Also, Seabiscuit has already been warned and put in Force Preview, which forces him to preview his edits. And the Ash's Pokémon template doesn't need to be fully protected just because one user made four consecutive edits. Consider this your final warning.--ForceFire 06:04, 14 May 2015 (UTC)

FYI

XY071 aired in Japan eight days ago, so any information pertaining to that episode can be on Bulbapedia's pages. We don't need to wait for it to be dubbed. AGGRON989 01:34, 16 May 2015 (UTC)

Ok, I get it now. I forgot Youtube... And the U.S. have Wi-Fi almost everywhere in the U.S. to watch videos... --~~ThePokémonFanSince1995~~-- 01:38, 16 May 2015 (UTC)
Hey Aggron, sorry but Ataro removed the XY071 part. --~~ThePokémonFanSince1995~~-- 02:55, 16 May 2015 (UTC)
You don't need to hide something that already aired/happened. We don't hide the information about Goodra's release because the dub hasn't caught up.--ForceFire 03:30, 16 May 2015 (UTC)
Okay. I understand now. --~~ThePokémonFanSince1995~~-- 03:34, 16 May 2015 (UTC)

Incorrect Time

Click on the clock at the top of the page to purge the page. The information you are loading on the page is from cached page loads, and clearing the cache by purging corrects your view of the time. It's not wrong, it's just slow to update. Legend Terrain has an example of this as well where the Arceus type changes daily; you might find the previous day's type showing under the 00:01 time and so on, but if you click the clock, you get an update. CycloneGU (talk) 01:47, 16 May 2015 (UTC)

Yeah, I know about that, I will add the other one. --~~ThePokémonFanSince1995~~-- 01:50, 16 May 2015 (UTC)

Hi, thanks for adding my question to Bulbapedia:Spading, but I actually wanted to add a little more information to the question on the page. Am I allowed to edit what you already posted there, or should I write something below that?
