Containing only one expansion, the Legendary Collection Series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game has an extremely limited amount of merchandise associated with it. Unlike other Series, the Legendary Collection Series does not have any collector's tins or value boxes, and only contains the two Theme Decks for the Legendary Collection expansion.
Legendary Collection Theme Decks
Released on May 24, 2002, Legendary Collection brought with it a pair of Theme Decks, featuring the Mouse Pokémon Raichu and the Flame Pokémon Charizard. Raichu's Theme Deck, Turmoil, features Water-type and Lightning-type Pokémon while Charizard's Lava Theme Deck features Fire-type and Fighting-type Pokémon. Each Theme Deck came packaged with a metal coin as well as a rulebook, damage counters, and card list. Each deck also came with one random Burst Reverse Holofoil card from the expansion.
