The Pikachu's New Friends Collection (Japanese: ピカチュウと新しい仲間たち) is the first Japanese release for the Sun & Moon Era of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. It features Pikachu with each of the three Alola starter Pokémon, and will be made available on November 18, 2016 alongside the release of the Pokémon Sun and Moon video games.
Information
Pikachu's New Friends is a small blister pack to be made available on November 18, 2016 containing the first 4 cards for the Japanese Sun & Moon Era of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. The four cards feature Pikachu and the three starter Pokémon for Generation VII: Rowlet, Litten, and Popplio. Featured on each new card is the updated card template for the new Generation of Pokémon cards, with the Pokédex information moved to the bottom right and the card number, rarity, and set symbol moved to the bottom left.
