The Togedemaru Deck (Japanese: トゲデマルデッキ) is a Japanese-exclusive Half Deck released early in the Sun & Moon Era of the Pokémon Trading Card Game.
Information
Starting on the weekend of January 14 and 15, 2017, and continuing on throughout the year, participating stores across Japan hosted Pokémon Card Game Classroom deck building learning events aimed at teaching children the basics of the TCG. Two exclusive Half Decks were available to purchase at these events, one of which was the Togedemaru Deck. This deck includes a selection of Water, Lightning, and Colorless-type Pokémon, as well as supporting Trainer and Energy cards. An accompanying Togedemaru Deck Battle Guide is also included, and goes into detail about the cards that form the deck.
Unlike the majority of fixed card releases in Japan, the set does not have its own collection number or symbol, with reprinted cards bearing numbers, symbols, and rarity from their source expansions with the exception of Togedemaru, which is a SM-P Promotional card. All cards do however feature a yellow Poké Ball symbol towards the bottom right corner, some of which also include a number.
