That statement has to be wrong anyway, since Pikachu still goes "Pika pika pika" and such. Why would Pikachu gets its anime voice and none of the other Pokemon? As for videos, this one here: [http://www.smashbros.com/jp/movies/movie071010b.html?keepThis=true&TB_iframe=true&height=320&width=420] It has Achamo and Pochama saying their names. In brawl centeral, there is a video near the bottom which shows king dedede vs. Ike. ABout 35 seconds in, chickorita appers from a pokeball and clearly yells "chicka" instead of "erun". So I have to say the rumor of pokemon using their video game cries is BUSTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Questions
I have a few questions about Red.
1. Does Squirtle, Ivysaur, and Charizard have the ability to pick up poke-balls?
2. Will he have difeerent colored clothing (if you can change colors) or will he be a different trainer? (Like Brendan or Lukas).
These are the questions that haunt me....
- 1. Obviously, Red's Pokémon will be able to pick up all the items.
- 2. We don't know how costume changes will be implemented yet. --FabuVinny T-C-S 19:41, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
they might just make them into shinies
Special moves
Okay, some of the B moves have been revealed. So how should we do this? Angerman 07:04, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
- Personally, I dislike the way the Super Smash Bros. Melee article does it. This is a good opportunity for our style editors to have a look at it. --FabuVinny T-C-S 11:47, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
- Soooo... should I ask someone for an overhaul or advice? Angerman 07:17, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
Guest Pokémon
In one of the videos of the demo version, Electivire can be clearly seen in the background of the electric version of PS2. Since there is no doubt if Electivire is in the background, please do not remove this information. If you need a source, I'll try to find the video. Deoxys911 19:09, 14 October 2007 (UTC)

- Or a picture at least. --Johans 21:36, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
- Hmm... They tell me Electivire is on a GamePro video, in case anybody wants to investigate. --Johans 21:54, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
Can you find the video and tell me the name of the site that I can find it on? --File:Spr 3e 115.gifTheryguy512File:Spr 3e 202.gifFile:Spr 3e 327.gif 21:55, 14 October 2007 (UTC)

- It was on Nintendo's press site so it's not likely to be fake. --FabuVinny T-C-S 20:05, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
Proof for Entei
Entei can be seen in this video. --Johans 16:05, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
Latios and Latias
People swear both Latios and Latias are in the game as expected. I'm sure there are more videos that show them, but the only one I have seen is this one. --Johans 16:05, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
Looks fake two me. Cerberus 17:15, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
- =-? Why doubting Latios and Latias when you know it's their turn to appear? My only question is what are their moves supposed to be and whether they come from their own Poké Balls. If somebody knows the answer, then add them to the article. --Johans
- I think Gardevoir might be confirmed too. That... whitish thing walking around. I could swear that's Gardevoir, but meh. (anywhoo, favorite Pokeymanz semi-confirmed?! Do want!) Oh well - if it is fake (I haven't played the games, to be honest..) oh well. Tina☆♥♫ 17:18, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
- ^_^ True, that's indeed Gardevoir. I don't know what is it doing, though. From what I've heard, it protects its Trainer inside that psychic ball. A Light Screen? --Johans 17:32, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
- It kinda looks real. I may have been filmed at E3 or something like that --File:Spr 3e 115.gifTheryguy512File:Spr 3e 202.gifFile:Spr 3e 327.gif 18:53, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
- E for All, the spiritual successor of the open-to-all-public E3. Gardevoir was also spotted in this picture. --Johans 19:18, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
- Yea, Gardevoir is pretty safe to say confirmed. But as for Entei, I think that the videa is fake. --File:Spr 3e 115.gifTheryguy512File:Spr 3e 202.gifFile:Spr 3e 327.gif 19:24, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
- Now, I couldn't find Entei.. because I was reading Mr. Resetti's text. We should put down Gardevoir as confirmed, or atleast semi-confirmed. (It'd be rockin' to have Gardevoir as a playable char, yknow... :o) I think the attack it uses is either Protect, Light Screen or Reflect. Tina☆♥♫ 19:27, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
- yeah nevermind sorry I just had to watch the video, the picture is just a mad image though. File:Ani491MS.gifKPF☆ 17:43, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
Actually only Latios was seen in the E for All video, Latias hasn't been mentioned yet.
OK that makes more sence. Cerberus 11:01, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
Princess peach
I heard a rumor that Princess peach is making a guest appearance in and upcoming episode of Pokémon. If that's true whether she be added to this page? Cerberus 01:24, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
- That rumour is completely false. But even if she did appear, she would still count as a product of the Mario universe so not be worth mentioning on this page. --FabuVinny T-C-S 15:29, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
OK then
Excuse me...
How can it be Latias and Latios!? Only one Pokémon can come out of a Pokéball! Angerman 07:07, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
- This game can ignore that little detail for the sake of gameplay. --FabuVinny T-C-S 14:34, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
I never read that update in the DOjo. Cerberus 11:37, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
- It was not a Dojo update, but a gameplay video made by fans. --Johans 16:10, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
- I could have sworn at some point in the anime 2 Pokemon could be in one Pokeball. I mean, you can put food in there, and even other Pokeballs. I don't see why not. MK 16:11, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
Excuse my rudeness, but don't Mantine (with Remoraid), Slowbro and Slowking (both with Shellder) kind of disprove the "one Pokemon per ball" thing?--PikamasterADV 17:14, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
- Not really. The Pokémon that are attached don't really do anything - thus, it's really just "okay, whatever". Tina☆♥♫ 17:22, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
Wailord?
At the bottom of http://www.zeldawiki.org/Pok%C3%A9_Ball , they say Wailord is going to be a Poké Ball Pokémon. Anyone have any other proff? --File:Spr 3e 059.gifFile:Spr 3e 132.gifTheryguy512 File:Trozeiani025.gif 00:24, 17 November 2007 (UTC)

- I've had a look around and this article mentions a blue whale in the demo but it could be Kyogre. --FabuVinny T-C-S 17:25, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
Oh, Wait. I think they thought was Wailord, but as shown on a video on the offical Brawl Website, it's Kyogre. --File:Spr 3e 059.gifFile:Spr 3e 132.gifTheryguy512 File:Trozeiani025.gif 17:32, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
Bonsly
Someone put up Bonsly as a Pokemon and gave the Boomb om desperation. We should problay lock this page. Cerberus 20:38, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
- I don't see the need to lock the article at this time. It isn't suffering from vandalism and it's certainly useful to keep it open in case the Dojo has a Pokémon update.
- Anyway, you can see Bonsly at the beginning of this video. --FabuVinny T-C-S 03:42, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
I see no Bonsly. I do see a Chaos Emerald Cerberus 13:17, 21 November 2007 (UTC)

If he exploded don't you think they would have said so, maybe the Bonsly stepped on a MSB or a Gooie Boomb. Cerberus 15:29, 11 December 2007 (UTC)

Stickers
- Hey, here's a novelty: let's have a discussion about the actual article.
- I've been thinking about stickers and am wondering how we are going to implement the information on it here. Take a look at the Spectator Mode coverage on the official site: Not only does it promise to "be passing out stickers left and right" but the likes of Silver the Hedgehog managed to be a sticker in the game. This suggests that we are likely to see a lot of stickers from the Pokémon universe. So is it going to fill up the page as a big list? And if we continue to list every little detail on the template, then it is going to be massive!
- We've got a bit of time to go before the release but it is worth thinking about --FabuVinny T-C-S 20:01, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
- I say gloss over the stickers, since there could be 500+ stickers, one for every Pokémon. Angerman 09:17, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
- There's no guarantee of that, though. And I think they'd include a few humans and items as well as Pokémon. --FabuVinny T-C-S 20:35, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
- If there's any substantial number of stickers, put the description on the Pokémon species page. If there's not too many, perhaps a list of trophies and a list of stickers that feature Pokémon things should be made. User:TTEchidna/sig 22:15, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

Its Metaknights ship the Halberd, I mean if you think about it they do sort of have the same shape in a way. But yeah thats Metaknights ship since its featured in the event match. Pokémon Master
- In addition, in Kirby of the Stars, Dedede and Escargon often call Kirby a "Pink Ball" as a derogatory name. Since he looks like a pink ball with feet.--PikamasterADV 12:23, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
- We are getting a topic here people. It is that trophy is a Pokémon I don't think it's noticeable to me are we going to do every time there is a Pigey in the background. Cerberus 12:48, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
Okay, the mission your talking about is in here: http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/gamemode/various/various16.html Your meta knight fighting kirby. Also, that is most likly a tropy of the Halbred--Quick Man107 14:00, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
Thats what I said before its an event match for Kirby's universe so Pokémon won't be a part of it ok? That trophy is the Halberd like I stated before. Pokémon Master
Legendary questions
So Shaymin and Darkrai (w00t) have been confirmed to appear in Brawl. Friggin' sweet, but Shaymin hasn't even been officially introduced to the Japanese D/P fan base yet (unless you count Brawl itself), and neither have been introduced to English-speaking countries. Will this mean that Shaymin events all around the world and Darkrai events for English players be held to help kill all confusion as to who these Pokémon are, or will they be cut from the finalized English versions?
As for Latios and Latias, just the other day the article said that the two are released from the same Poké Ball, fly to opposite ends of the stage, and meet in the middle. But now, it says all that and that only Latios has been confirmed. Clearly, Latias has been confirmed if we know so much about what happens when the Poké Ball is thrown, has she not? // SzayelAporroGranzFile:Ani282MS.gif 16:22, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
- Listen I have actually seen the video with Latios in it and only Latios comes out of the Poké Ball alright?
- Look Latios Appears at 0.50 okay? Unsigned comment by Big Johnno
- That is one video. The demo was released to multiple game journalists who report seeing both. Gimpyfish played it constantly at E For All and in his impressions he reports seeing both. Until we get more solid information, the evidence is at both being featured in the game. --FabuVinny T-C-S 14:37, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
- To answer the first question, no they aren't suddenly going to give away the unobtainables. Shaymin will be revealed in the next Coro Coro and then be given away in Japan when the movie comes out. Darkrai will soon be revealed on Pokemon.com with the revelation of the movie and MD sequel. The big question is what the English translation will do with Shaymin and NoA might not even have that answer yet.
- But when was Darkrai confirmed? It seems odd that it wouldn't have been mentioned when we knew of Shaymin immediately. --FabuVinny T-C-S 14:45, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
- I think I heard, but I forgot the name, that Darkrai was revealed at the same place Garchomp was revealed.User:Pokemaniac102/Sig 16:01, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

Lucario (And Ness) Confirmed for Brawl
Copied and Pasted straight from GameFAQs.
"(A video from Offical Nintendo Wii Website (Japanese)
Check around 4:20 in the lower-right-hand corner that shows who you can use the stickers on. Lucario's and Ness's heads appear in separate images:
Lucario:
Ness:
Enjoy."
Make sure you watch the video on the website, not the video on YouTube and such.
Epic.--PikamasterADV 04:17, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
- Damn my ignorance! The links to the pictures are there, you just have to open the edit function to see them.
Well spotted, but they might also be leading to another section of stickers, plus people have been saying they saw Lucario come out of a Poké Ball.
- But in the Sticker Power Up update on the DOJO, it shows Kirby, Meta-Knight, and Dedede when the Cook Kirby sticker is highlighted. I believe this is real. That would be three pictures following the pattern.
- We'll see. User:TTEchidna/sig 04:55, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
- Be patient.User:Pokemaniac102/Sig 04:59, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
- I remembered something! In the video, it shows the Klaptrap Sticker, but when the hand hovers over it, it shows no one. If the above "leading to a selection of stickers" hypothesis is correct, where are Donkey Kong and Diddy on the bar next to the discription for the Klaptrap sticker?--PikamasterADV 05:08, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

EVERYONE! JUST BE PATIENT! PLEASE DO NOT ADD LUCARIO OR JIGGLYPUFF TO THE PAGE UNTILL SOMETHING IS CONFIRMED ON THE DOJO! AT THE MOMENT ITS NOTHING BUT RUMOR AND SPECULATION OKAY?
- Well, I admit I went and added the info the Jigglypuff and Lucario and those haven't been edited back yet. I'm not trying to create an Edit War; I'm not "readding" the information to the Brawl Page. Coincidentally, I s'pose this means that Mewtwo isn't in Brawl, similar to what Serebii was hinting at..--PikamasterADV 05:17, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
- Mewtwo was terrible, i would love to see him get replaced with Lucario. but does Lucario have enough popularity to become a playable character? User:MAGNEDETH/Sig 05:20, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
Well on img there was a debate going on about who should be in brawl? Mewtwo or Lucario, despite Mewtwo having a bigger fan base, most have agreed, Lucario would be better in close combat. But still please don't add anything!
UNCONFIRMED Zeta...User:Pokemaniac102/Sig 05:26, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
Just an update: theres now a YouTube Version of the video that the leak came from. Apparently, someone learned of the leak, and the video on Wii.com was changed.--PikamasterADV 05:42, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
Oy... No one knows what i'm talking about nowadays.User:Pokemaniac102/Sig 05:44, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
Prove that Jigglypuff is in the game... AND I WANT VISUAL EVIDENCE...User:Pokemaniac102/Sig 05:46, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
- No, I know what you mean. There could be some contrived way that Lucario isn't going to be playable, and that the DOJO or other, 100% infalliable confirmation should be recieved. I was just making sure the information was still listed on this page, with reliable videos. I'm sorry if I'm offending anyone. And Pokemaniac, if you look at the YouTube Vid or the pictures that have been put on Bulbanews, you can see Jigglypuff next to Lucario. --PikamasterADV 05:48, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
- Wait........Why are we fighting? And are we sure that those images at the bottom are players?User:Pokemaniac102/Sig 05:53, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
- I didn't think we were fighting. I'd call it a 99% true thing. Also in the (non-edited) Video, it shows that two Sonic Stickers and only Sonic listed where the character Icons are. Not to mention the entire Ness thing.--PikamasterADV 05:56, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
- K... End of Discussion! But Zeta or any other admin will probably not UNprotect the article.User:Pokemaniac102/Sig 05:58, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
- And it has been protected without a time limit.User:Pokemaniac102/Sig 05:59, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
- We'll see. The article should be protected until the release date, no longer. I changed it so we don't forget to do so manually. User:TTEchidna/sig 08:41, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

D*** YOU, LUCARIO, I WILL NOT ACCEPT MEWTWO BEING CUT! I am sorry for the Caps abuse but I am a huge mewtwo player in melee, he's my best and favoritwe charecter, you see, some pepole DO like mewtwo better than lucario.--Quick Man107 12:37, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
wait a minute, light bulb! Maybe that certain game didn't unlock mewtwo and/or pichu and/or any other playable pokemon!--Quick Man107 12:37, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
Mewtwo or Pichu
I don't think it's necessary to mention Mewtwo's or Pichu's fate yet. No matter how well foundated, it's just an assumption as of January 21st. --Johans 19:06, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
Ha? Of course Mewtwo is coming back and Pichu is not. But we need proth. Cerberus 19:21, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
- What? No, Lucario IS this generations Mewtwo....Mewtwo's not coming back....and Pokémon Trainer replaced Pichu. Why don't we move this to forums???? User:Theryguy512/Sig 19:51, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
- Given the nature of the leak, that looks to be the final Pokémon lineup. Besides which, Serebii already said that Lucario replaces Mewtwo and he just confirmed on his site today that he does have insider information on the game. --FabuVinny T-C-S 21:10, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
- Okay, I guess I'll believe Serebii. I just think that part needs a better wording anyway, possibly by not mentioning Mewtwo or Pichu. If some administrator can edit it, it would be nice. It's good that the article is locked BTW. --Johans 21:26, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

Make up you're mind weather of not Serebii is reliable or not. We can't jump to conclusions. Cerberus 21:23, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
- If anything, Mewtwo and Pichu are unconfirmed for being playable or not. Ness is in Brawl, and Lucas takes most, if not all, of his powers. Wait it out. We will see! User:TTEchidna/sig 22:38, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
What dos ness have to do with this? Also maybe that was story mode and Mewtwo is doing somthing else at the time. Cerberus 23:30, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
- Everyone figured that Ness would be out because Lucas was in. Same difference with Mewtwo and Lucario. User:TTEchidna/sig 23:32, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
I think we should ice this for now. Just see what happens. Cerberus 23:37, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
- I took the mention of Pichu and Mewtwo out of the article. Mewtwo and Pichu are really unlikely to return but we can wait until the final rosta is confirmed to actually say that on the article. --FabuVinny T-C-S 16:48, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
Manaphy
This is great. How come Manphy is not on the page? Cerberus 11:34, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
- Most likely because the article is fully protected and an administrator is not around to make additions. It'll be added soon enough. // SzayelAporroGranzFile:Ani282MS.gif 11:49, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
Yes I did not here anything about Leafeon. Were did that come from? Cerberus 17:18, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
Were did you hear about Leafeon? --DarthCookieMonster 18:33, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
- I have no idea if Leafeon has been confirmed or not (I can never make it to these types of events), but it's been on the list for roughly a week now, if not longer. // SzayelAporroGranzFile:Ani282MS.gif 19:17, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
Pokemon voices
I'm thinking this statement However, the Pokémon no longer speak in their anime voices, but instead cry out their sound effect voices from the videogames. should not be here. Pokemon still have their anime voices, and heck, the Pokeball has the anime sound effect for the first time. Goldchaos 21:17, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
- What? Cerberus 21:39, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
- Apparently, the Pokémon no longer have their anime voices (what the article says), and GC is saying otherwise. I'm trying to look for videos on this, but everyone I find has only still pictures. // SzayelAporroGranzFile:Ani282MS.gif 21:52, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
Pokeball I think. Cerberus 02:19, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
That statement has to be wrong anyway, since Pikachu still goes "Pika pika pika" and such. Why would Pikachu gets its anime voice and none of the other Pokemon? As for videos, this one here: [1] It has Achamo and Pochama saying their names. Goldchaos 16:59, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
- Well, playable characters are more important than items, but that video and the Jigglypuff/Lucario commercial confirm that Piplup at least has its anime voice. --FabuVinny T-C-S 17:44, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
Case closed *gravel is hered hitting a wodden table*--Quick Man107 21:19, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
Jp URL
The Japanese URL for Brawl is busted. There's a '/' slash after the 'index.html', and it thus reads it as a 404. I don't have the powers to edit this page, so... yeah. User:TinaTheKirlia/Sig 17:55, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
