• Sun delivers Moon and Rotom to Professor Kukui.
• Moon gives Rotom to Professor Kukui.
• Professor Kukui reveals he needed a Rotom to have it combine with the Pokédex he gave to Sun.
• Due to Sun's mishandling of the Pokédex, Rotom refuses to enter the device.
• The Island Kahunas plan to host a tournament at a festival to determine who will travel the islands and calm the Guardian deities.
• Professor Kukui enters Sun in the festival.
