The Journey Starts Today is the opening theme song for the English dub of the twenty-third season, Pokémon Journeys: The Series. It first aired with Enter Pikachu!. The opening animation is composed of clips from the first Pokémon Journeys: The Series Japanese opening, One, Two, Three, and various Pokémon Journeys: The Series episodes, while the ending animation is composed of clips from the first Pokémon Journeys: The Series Japanese ending, Pokémon Shiritori.
