Pokémon anime
The anime in Croatia was dubbed from Pokémon: Indigo League to Pokémon: Advanced and aired on Nova TV and Mini TV, respectively, from 2000 until around 2006. The other seasons were not dubbed until Pokémon: Black & White aired on Nova TV in Croatian in 2012. All seasons of the anime were dubbed by Project 6 Studio. Nothing beyond that had been released until the return of the anime on July 1, 2021 with the release of Pokémon Journeys: The Series. However, during a short period of time after its TV release, the first six episodes of Pokémon: Black & White were sold on three separate DVDs by one2play, with each DVD containing two of those episodes in chronological order. All of the intros are dubbed in Croatian.
In Croatia, the anime is available on Netflix: S01 is available only in form of subtitles, even though the season was fully dubbed; S23, as well as M22, are the only dubbed contents on the platform. The Sun and Moon series, the twentieth and twenty-first movies, and the special Pokémon: Happy Birthday to You are also available, although not dubbed or subbed.
Pokémon movies
The first movie was dubbed in Croatian with the title Pokémon Prvi film. The special movie Pokemon: Povratak Mevtvoa aired as well. The second movie has been dubbed with the title Pokémon 2000. The fourth movie is translated as Pokémon Zauvijek: Celebi - Glas Šume. The sixth and the seventh movies are named Jirachi - Ispuni mi Želju and Sudbina Deoxysa, respectively. None of the theme songs received a dub and remain in English, with the exception of M03 and M22. No other movies had been made or released in the country until the showing of the Croatian subtitled version of Detective Pikachu in cinemas on May 16, 2019. Also, a Croatian dub of M22 was released on Netflix on September 1, 2020.
