The Origin Ball (Japanese: オリジンボール Origin Ball) is a Key Item introduced in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. It is a Poké Ball version of the Red Chain.
In the core series games
Effect
Catches either Origin Forme Palkia (if the player chose to seek materials for the Red Chain with Adaman) or Origin Forme Dialga (if the player chose Irida) during the cutscene in Mission 19: "The Counterpart", at the end of the main story in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. It cannot be used to catch any other Pokémon, as the player is not allowed to select and throw it.
