Trivia
Origin
Considering its wirelike hair and coloring, it is probably based on a raccoon dog, a species of Asian canine that looks somewhat similar to raccoons, or the aforementioned Euroasian badger.
Name origin
Zigzagoon's name appears to be a combination of zigzag, referring to its fur pattern, and raccoon. Its Japanese name is a combination of zigzag and 洗い熊 araiguma, Euroasian badger.
In other languages
- German: Zigzachs
- French: Zigzaton
- Korean: 지그재구리 Zigzaguri - A combination of the word "zigzag" and neoguri which means "raccoon".
