The Sword & Shield arc (Japanese: 第十五章 ソード・シールド編 The Fifteenth Chapter: Sword & Shield arc) is the fifteenth story arc of the Pokémon Adventures manga. It began serialization in November 2019, and ended in June 2023.
The arc follows the adventures of Henry Sword, an expert toolsmith specialized in fixing and maintaining the gear that various Pokémon use, and Casey Shield, a hyperactive girl who helps Professor Magnolia in her Dynamax research, as they take part in Galar's famed Gym Challenge. Their intention is to use the media attention attracted to them by the event to help Casey find the Pokémon that she had lost a year earlier. They are accompanied on their journey by a boy named Marvin, who recently moved to the region and is still new to everything it has to offer. In the background, Chairman Rose of Macro Cosmos has a plan that could threaten to disrupt the Gym Challenge and the lives of everyone in Galar.
