Some of these moves may receive an increase in their base power in specific [[generation]]s only. {{m|Earthquake}}, for example, has its power doubled against Pokémon in the semi-invulnerable turn of {{m|Dig}} from [[Generation II]] to {{gen|IV}} only (but does not have any special interaction with them in Generation {{gen|I}}, and will technically have the [[damage]] against them doubled from [[Generation V]] onwards instead).

Earthquake, for example, has doubled power against Pokémon in the semi-invulnerable turn of Dig from Generation II to IV only (but does not have any special interaction with them in Generation I, and will technically deal double damage against them from Generation V onwards instead).
