The Ice Path (Japanese: こおりのぬけみち Ice Escape Route) is a four-floored cave located in the Johto region that connects Route 44 with Blackthorn City. It is known for its numerous ice puzzles, which vary in size and difficulty.

Pokémon

The Ice Cave is famous for its rare Jynx, but it has many other Pokémon as well. It is the only place in Johto where wild Swinub and Delibird can be caught. Below is a list of Pokémon in the cave along with their appearance rate:

• In Pokémon Gold and Silver, the Ice path looked like an average cave. However, in Pokémon Crystal, it was redesigned to make it look more ice-like.
