Tyrogue ended up forming a gang of Mankey and Primeape and together they would steal from weary travelers, such as Ash and friends. Sprites
Trivia
- Tyrogue and Eevee are the only Pokémon that can evolve into more than two Pokémon.
- Tyrogue's back sprite has never changed its pose. He shares this trait with Ho-Oh.
- Tyrogue can only be obtained by the use of a Ditto, as its family has no female counterpart.
- Tyrogue gives no effort values when defeated.
Origin
Name origin
Tyrogue's name is a combination of tyke, meaning child, and rogue, one who is playfully mischievous. It is also possible that the first part of his name is derived from tyro, meaning a beginner, instead of tyke. His Japanese name is probably a corruption of the English word bulky, an adjective describing something large for its weight.
In other languages
- German: Rabauz
- French: Debugant - From débutant (beginner) and gant (glove).
- Korean: 배루키 Baeruki
