Lick (Japanese: したでなめる Tongue Lick) is a damage-dealing Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation I.
Effect
Generation I
Lick inflicts damage and has a 29.7% chance of paralyzing the target. Lick cannot paralyze a target that has a Substitute or already has a major status ailment.
Generation II
Same as Generation I; however, there is a 30% chance of paralysis instead.
