Shell Smash (Japanese: からをやぶる Shell Break) is a non-damaging Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation V.
Effect
Shell Smash decreases the user's Defense and Special Defense stat by one level, but increases the user's Attack, Special Attack, and Speed by two levels each.

Trivia
- Shell Smash, along with Coil and Quiver Dance, are the only moves that raise three stats at once.
- Shell Smash is also the only move that affects more than three stats, other than AncientPower and its variations.
- Shell Smash also causes the greatest overall base stat changes of any move, with 8.
- However, Belly Drum surpasses this if the user has at least a -3 stat change in Attack, resulting in a +9 net stat change.
