Its nose is large and red, with its face also having a prominent brow, a wide mouth, a gray tuft on its chin, dark rings around its eyes and a bulbous feature sticking up from the back of his head. Thick violet bands and bulges adorn its shoulders, chest, back and thighs. It is known to carry concrete pillars in its massive arms.
Gender differences
None.
Special abilities
Conkeldurr can create concrete, a technique it was believed to have taught 2000 years ago. It uses its concrete pillars to attack strongly, without using its physical strength. It also uses them like a cane.

Trivia
- Conkeldurr's evolutionary line shares many similarities with Machamp's evolutionary line. Both of them are Fighting-type Pokémon whose Attack is their highest stat, have below average Speed, have the same gender ratio, have three evolutionary stages, reach their respective final-evolutionary form through trading and have the same base stat total.
- Conkeldurr has the highest Attack of all Template:Type2 Pokémon.
Origin
At first glance, Conkeldurr's brutal humanoid appearance suggests inspiration from ogres of folklore. Furthermore, Timburr's Pokédex entry supports that it and its evolutions are based on construction workers. Due to its clown nose and buff body, it may have also been based on a muscleman carnie from a carnival sideshow.
Name origin
Conkeldurr likely comes from concrete and elder. It may also call to mind conk, having meaning as both an especially large nose and in hitting, or conking, someone on the head.
Roobushin may be a portmanteau of 老 rō, old and 武人 bujin, warrior or 武神 bushin, warlord. The ushin part of its name may also be from push, referring to how it is pushing cement blocks.
In other languages
- German: Meistagrif - From Meister and Griff.
- French: Bétochef - From béton (concrete) and chef (chieftain).
- Korean: 노보청 Nobocheong
