May I ask you?
On the main series regions articles, why did you remove each region's location in correlation with the other regions in the intro of each article? I think that info should be there. ZMT123 04:50, 2 January 2012 (UTC)
- Because it's speculation. Aside from Kanto and Johto, which are connected, there's no official source for the locations of those regions in relation to one another. Werdnae (talk) 04:36, 2 January 2012 (UTC)
Actually, it is confirmed that Kanto and Johto are south and southwest (Johto being southwest) of Sinnoh. In the radio in HGSS, it refers to Sinnoh as "the great land to the north". ZMT123 04:50, 2 January 2012 (UTC)
- Ah, I see, in Sinnoh Sound. I was not aware of that. I'll that back into the articles then, thanks. It is generally better to provide the source in cases like this, so I'll put it in the articles. --SnorlaxMonster 07:43, 2 January 2012 (UTC)
?
Why did you delete my outdated section template in the sandbox? Mothim will rule all!-Wildgoose (and Dustox will too!) 15:14, 2 January 2012 (UTC)
- You weren't doing anything there. You just pasted raw template code (minus the category). The sandbox is meant for testing templates; if you aren't testing anything, there is no need to use it. --SnorlaxMonster 15:15, 2 January 2012 (UTC)
TM34 (glitch Pokémon)
Please delete this, it doesn't exist. Thanks - unsigned comment from Rsrdaman (talk • contribs)
- Thanks, although your ALLCAPS edit summary drew my attention to it anyway. However, I'm going to expand the article of the actual glitch Pokémon at Hex EB in Yellow before I do delete it, since it seems to be using some of its info. --SnorlaxMonster 05:54, 4 January 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you. When I saw that page I knew it was wrong immediately, data was from mixed sources, including the picture, I even tested it out on my Yellow version and knew that there was no possible way for it be be right. Sorry for being inactive for so long. I was sick as hell. Also, Is there anything recent to the Glitch area of Bulbapedia requireing any help with? --×Rsrdaman× 02:51, 13 January 2012 (UTC)
Speed
Which Pokémon moves first when they have both the same Speed and the priority of attacks? (Eg. Kyogre vs. Giratina, they have the same base Speed, so it's not that unlikely). Is it random? Marked +-+-+ 14:32, 5 January 2012 (UTC)
Austrian event

Jimmy Zoppi
Please unprotect this. It's not fair to limit a page to admins forever. Also, I'm sorry about forgetting admin clearance when moving it, but what you did (protect it forever) is quite extreme. Now I know I do not have the power to boss you around, but please reconsider what you just did. サトシ 22:14, 11 January 2012 (UTC)
- Snorlax only protected it against moving. You are still welcome to edit the article, just not rename it. As Snorlax said, the protection will be lifted once a consensus on the title has been reached. —darklordtrom 04:19, 12 January 2012 (UTC)
Rikako
When I was on the Rikako page, I noticed that she didn't have a dub name. Does Mrs. Mitchum count as a dub name as both her husband and daughter have Mitchum as the family name? PattyMan 23:50, 12 January 2012 (UTC)
- I don't know. I brought it up on the talk page. --SnorlaxMonster 09:11, 13 January 2012 (UTC)
Consensus for Carter Cathcart
As of now, the poll is closed, and Carter Cathcart has the most votes. Therefore, the consensus has been reached. Now you can unprotect the move tab. サトシ 02:26, 21 January 2012 (UTC)

Pokémon D/P/Pl Maps
Where did the overworld maps, like the ones in the info boxes of the Sinnoh Route 209 and Sinnoh Route 214 pages, come from? I'm guessing it was partially ripped with a specialized utility uploaded to a site. It could have been done by someone here that took the time to do a nice quality rip that was very time consuming but stopped after mid-way through. I tried looking on The Video Game Atlas and came up with nothing. I would like to see a replacement of that kind of quality for pages such as Sinnoh Route 210 and Sinnoh Route 213 and even pages such as Floaroma Meadow and Valor Lakefront. No more scans or snapshots.
If there is no way to know, I could help out any way I can. Just supply me with the right tools and I'll see what I can do!
I am playing through Pokémon Pearl Version for the first time just to correct for any errors along the way, using pages like that as a sort-of-guide (I have done a few edits along the way). --Wildgoosespeeder 05:18, 25 January 2012 (UTC)
- The maps are a compilation of images of the route using manipulations to make them so that they are top down and trainerless. There isn't, as far as I'm aware, any utility for it. Just manual assembly of lots of screenshots. Werdnae (talk) 05:42, 25 January 2012 (UTC)
- Heh, I thought through ROM hacking, you can easily get map data. Plus your explanation could have one complication to retain neatness. The game is angled, giving the world a 3D-ish look compared to previous Pokémon games. This means jaggedness could occur during reassembly. --Wildgoosespeeder 07:58, 25 January 2012 (UTC)
- That's why you need to find a code to manipulate the display angle so that it's top down. Werdnae (talk) 08:10, 25 January 2012 (UTC)
- Yeah, they would get an oblique view of it. However, I also know a fair number of Sinnoh images are (or were) scans from game guides. However, these are not preferred to the usual method. --SnorlaxMonster 07:45, 30 January 2012 (UTC)
- OK, what is the code to disable the 3D? Is it Action Replay triggered or is it the "internal" cheat engine that DeSmuME uses? To save time, I would like the complete game save please, if possible! --Wildgoosespeeder 03:53, 3 February 2012 (UTC)
- Sorry, I really have no idea. I've never done so myself. You're better off finding a map someone has uploaded, finding out who the uploader is and asking them. Also, can you please avoid talking about emulators here. --SnorlaxMonster 08:25, 3 February 2012 (UTC)
- Emulators are legal, ROMs are a controversial area. I understand that. US copyright law states somewhere you can have back-ups of media you own legal copies of as long as they stay personal, or something to that effect. Copyright law in other countries vary. If you don't want me talking about it further than that, OK then, no more out of me. --Wildgoosespeeder 19:28, 3 February 2012 (UTC)
- Yeah, I understand that emulators by themselves are legal, but let me quote the first page of the Pokémon White manual:

Copying of any Nintendo game is illegal and is strictly prohibited by intellectual property laws. Back-up or archival copies are not authorised and are not necessary to protect your software.
- Essentially, they are specifically forbidding you from making copies of the game, even for personal use, even if it was not illegal without it. So you were implying that you would be running a Pokémon game on an emulator, which would require you to have an illegal ROM. Regardless, it's better to be cautious. --SnorlaxMonster 02:04, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
- They may hate it but legally they may have no power over certain cases no matter what they may say. They could just be saying that just to ward off most potential violators. It is really iffy of the real legality of it, meaning who has the authority to say what is legal and illegal. Like I said, it's a very controversial topic. Best advice I have is if you really want ROMs, just download the ones you already own legal copies of. Don't distribute because that is infringement. People tend to do the opposite of those two guidelines and that is definitely illegal. --Wildgoosespeeder 05:58, 4 February 2012 (UTC)

Random Pokémon
Hi,,,, I am really sorry that I copied the Random Pokémon stuff from you page without your permission. But I was so excited I created a Random Generation 1 pokemon tab here....Jaison Clinton Castelino 16:03, 26 January 2012 (UTC)
Description template.
According to this, Amnesia description doesn't differ in FireRed/LeafGreen (and it has to be true, since this covers up in 100% with what you entered into Splash's description), but there is no RSEFRLG, only RSE and FRLG. Marked +-+-+ 12:42, 1 February 2012 (UTC)
Checked, it's true. Also, wtf GameFreak. ._.. Are you trying to make our life hard? Meh, okay... not changing between RSEFRLG is okay, since it's the same generation, and Gen IV/V is exception (since by that time there is enough time for description, and differs only in few cases like Aerial Ace), but this? This is pretty... strange, and happens to be true as well. Marked +-+-+ 13:06, 1 February 2012 (UTC)
Isamu "Red" Akai
On Isamu Akai's or Red's talk page, did he really have Venusaur and some of the other Pokémon? I left a message on that talk page two months ago but nobody responded. The same applied for Conkeldurr but it was left there for four months. I wanted to ask you since you were the last person to edit the page. PattyMan 17:53, 2 February 2012 (UTC)
- No idea, I don't read the manga. I was just putting something Dogasu suggested on the forums (and I agreed with) on the page. --SnorlaxMonster 08:25, 3 February 2012 (UTC)

when i try to undo content in forcepreview status i accidentally remove all content because of the preview button. what should i do?--My r6g4rdz, TEH GIGA-UBER-1337-HAX0R(Mr-ex777) 15:52, 3 February 2012 (UTC)
- So when you undo an edit then preview the box is blanked upon previewing, or the text is still in the box but when you save the page is blank? --SnorlaxMonster 02:04, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
- blanked upon previewing.--My r6g4rdz, TEH GIGA-UBER-1337-HAX0R(Mr-ex777) 04:57, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
- I just put myself into the usergroup to test it and it worked fine. The problem is on your end, not with the usergroup. IIRC, we had a user (who wasn't in the group) that had a similar problem on a mobile device because they didn't let it fully load before they clicked the button, and it hadn't loaded the text in the edit pane. Do you know how the Egg Blackout Glitch is triggered?
Hi. You seem to be really nice and helpful with the games. I don't mind that help at all. About 2 months ago I was attempting a glitch with Pokemon Gold and Silver or Silver and Crystal as Gold doesn't work and it was the egg blackout glitch. It wouldn't let me trade the egg during a link trade as I only had one Pokemon. Then I thought the glitch was triggered by beating Falkner, then receiving an Egg with only Cyndaquil or Totodile, very hard to beat Violet gym with Chikorita and still no infinite blackout glitch. Do you know any other methods to get it to work? Since I'm not actually playing my gen 2 games. I'm experimenting with them now. (MichaelXD 20:06, 3 February 2012 (UTC))
- This is where it came from. Have you tried obtaining an egg, then entering a trade with just your starter and an egg, then trading the starter for an egg? It should work, since you have two Pokémon. Or is that what you were saying you already did? --SnorlaxMonster 02:29, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
Hi
Do you have skype? I'd like to be able to talk about Pomeg sub-glitches in Gen IV without having to leave a huge trail of messages that take a long time between replies, if possible ;)
Thanks, OwnageMuch 09:42, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
- Well, I do have Skype, but I only use it for personal purposes, rather than Bulbagarden/Pokémon stuff. If you have AIM, I'd prefer to use that, but I can make another Skype account (which may be useful at other times too). Bulbawiki staff communicate with AIM, while forums staff use Skype. --SnorlaxMonster 09:47, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
