Jolteon (Japanese: サンダース Thunders) is an Electric-type Pokémon.
Biology
Physiology
Jolteon is the result of exposing an Eevee to the radiation of a Thunder Stone. Jolteon has dog-like Pokémon with yellow fur that has the sharpness of needles (Glaceon shares this same trait, but it's not as obvious). Jolteon also has a white, spiky collar.
Gender differences
None.
Special abilities
Jolteon can use the same attacks that Eevee could use, with the addition of the ability to use Electrical attacks and Pin Missile. As a fully evolved Pokémon, Jolteon can learn Hyper Beam and Giga Impact.
Behavior
Habitat
Jolteon usually are found near power plants. Due to the need of a Thunderstone to evolve from Eevee, not many are found.
Diet
Main article: Pokémon food
In the anime
Jolteon first appeared under the ownership of one of the Eevee brothers in The Battling Eevee Brothers.
Ash battled against a Jolteon in the Pokémon League Entrance Exam in The Ultimate Test.
In Get Along, Little Pokémon, Ethan used a Jolteon as a "sheep dog" of sorts. Whenever any of Ethan's Magnemites tried to escape, Jolteon would use Thunder Wave to lure them back.
Jolteon was also seen under the ownership of one of the Kimono Sisters in Trouble's Brewing and Espeon Not Included.
In the manga
In the Pokémon Special manga
Red temporarily controls a Jolteon, which is actually his Eevee switching between its evolved forms.
