You're using HTML though.
You used ">" and "<", which you can see if you edit the page are not the same as > and <. They generate the character, but it's like é vs é, a pain in the ass.
This is what you have
This is what you SHOULD
You copied the HTML directly or screwed something up somehow. And I wish I knew how you did. TTEchidna 23:32, 10 April 2009 (UTC)

Don't remove a large amount of information without giving any reasons to why you did it in the edit summary box. And don't you think you edited Ash Ketchum enough already? Why don't you go do something else? --ケンジのガール 21:59, 11 April 2009 (UTC)
I'm trying to push it into featured article status. You were the one that said the trivia section is too long anyway. AlphaTotodile
Signature Coding
Could you please consider changing the <span> in your user talk link to </span>. Leaving it as the former causes all text below it to become blue, whereas inserting the slash resets the text color for future comments. --Shiningpikablu252 23:23, 11 April 2009 (UTC)
Userspace edits
When the Userspace policy says four edits per day, does that mean in UTC time? Or does that mean the time zone that I chose in my preferences? (Which in this case is CDT, or Central Time Zone in daylight saving time, -6 hours from UTC. Alpha Totodile 00:30, 12 April 2009 (UTC), 7:30 in CDT

Before you use my dinosaur tag, do you even know what it means? Do you know what its referencing? Do you know what Dinosaur thats supposed to be? In other news, good jobs on the contributions. though less user talk, more mainspaceUser:DCM 23:17, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
- It's referring to Jurassic Park, isn't it? And if I don't know, then you should know that's one of my habits. Saying stuff without knowing what it means. And I'm trying to join more projects (Still waiting for Kenji-girl's permission to join Project Anime), so I'll be more into mainspace contribs. BTW, sorry it took so long to respond, I was trying to improve a Shipping article. Alpha Totodile 23:44, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
- Yep. Its a Jurassic Park reference, specifically the book, which since your 12 you shouldnt read. its an allosaurus. If i remember correctly that is a direct quote from the book. I was just checking. As for joining projects, whats the point? Its not like you need tenure. just edit what you see a need to edit, and edit to your best ability. - You're an independant editor, huh... Well, if that works for you then that's fine. I just feel the need to join projects for some reason. Shipping articles
I love your enthusiasm about attacking them. But here comes the "but". There are places for essay-looking types of articles. In the case of GymShipping, I would rather not have anything lost than something new gained, only because the article itself is huge (the content might be a little aged, but it's still a lot of effort well-put-in and remains viable). I don't want to say, "You should have come to me before tackling it," because it's not a matter of that (it's a wiki, and all I am is a Project leader, not an initiated admin), but it is a matter that I don't know your judgment capabilities, so I cannot trust you made a sound call in the extensiveness.
It's also the case of the History article, because DP should not be a factor until after the series has run its course; if anything should be written extensively, it should be AG, not DP. We're too close to the subject matter of DP to be writing anything definitive or conclusive. Luna Tiger * the Arc Toraph 18:29, 20 April 2009 (UTC)
- Well, I just thought the GymShipping article needed cleaning up. The good Shipping pages (PokéShipping, PalletShipping, OrangeShipping, AdvanceShipping, ContestShipping, PearlShipping, IkariShipping, the list goes on...) have the format with the "This person's hints" and then "This person's hints", and in general, the whole article needed trimming up because some of it, as stated in the edit summary, was completely irrelevant to the article. Some of it was biased and downright wrong. I am a Shipper, but I really wish that we could put aside our convictions and write neutrally.
- As for the history article, that is the current shipping debate, and I know for a fact that the Shippings listed there were added to the whole war after the characters appeared. We can just add more stuff there as things change. Alpha Totodile 20:57, 20 April 2009 (UTC)

Userspace policy
Regarding this edit: Technically, there is no limit to the amount of userspace edits one can perform in a day. However, it is preferred to have more mainspace edits than anything else. That guy you found is still an offender - he's at 100%. Just so you know for next time... it's not four. — THE TROM — 04:47, 9 May 2009 (UTC)
- Ah. The userspace policy didn't read "only four edits per day." I must've read some talk page where an admin said that they try to limit themselves to four edits per day when I still lurked here. --Alpha TotodileRWAR!! 12:17, 9 May 2009 (UTC)

Anyway, she told him that his ability to edit it wouldn't be returned yet. He got a link to the policy in the welcome just like everyone else, THREE warnings, and a link to the policy in one of the warnings. Don't waste time

It's good that you want to help out, but don't waste your own time by doing things like that. — THE TROM — 01:26, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
Hey, man...
You really shouldn't call people idiots, regardless of their actions. Please, read up on the code of conduct. If you do something like that again, you will end up getting reprimanded with blocks. - Kogoro | Talk to me - 00:45, 16 May 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry. It won't happen again. Nevertheless, Matt's coming off as annoying. --Alpha TotodileRWAR!! 00:47, 16 May 2009 (UTC)
- Nevertheless, its obvious that we are handling the situation. When four admins are on it, there is no need to step in and call people idiots. Do remember that though he is being a bit stubborn, he is a senior user, and you've barely been around for a month. Show respect, and don't post tounge-in-cheek sarcasm on Matt's talk page after being given a warning. It's a waste of edits.--RexRacer 00:52, 16 May 2009 (UTC)
Charizard image
Hi Alpha Totodile... why you change the image of Charizard that I posted? the image has a problem? thanks...
Bye!! - unsigned comment from Pedraito (talk • contribs)
First of all, sign your posts. Second of all, the previous pic reveals a lot more of Charizard's body than yours. You can also see its eyes better in the other pic. You only put your pic there because Charizard looks stronger in it? That is not a good reason to put an image in the article that's worse than the previous one. --Alpha TotodileRWAR!! 01:08, 16 May 2009 (UTC)

And it won't ever be a notable article if you don't link to it. I think it's a fine link, and it's certainly accurate and pertinent. If you still think I shouldn't link it, please let me know. It's not like the whole sentence is blue, after all. Thanks. Jazzmoth 20:28, 16 May 2009 (UTC)

Differences between the games and anime Response
I am already done with everything I could come up with and personally not to be rude but that message to me was unnecessary though you also had no idea that I was done. Besides I consider dealing with vandals and cleaning up peoples unintended mistakes to be more valuable topics for important editors to send to other people anyway. -Tyler53841 21:23, 16 May 2009 (UTC)

Ominous Wind
Why did you revert my edit to this page? Usually, when you revert people's edits, you give explanations as to why. I gave a reason why I removed it, and I'd like to know your reason for reverting me back. Thanks, Kevin Y (talk) 22:12, 16 May 2009 (UTC)
- If there are four Pokémon that can learn Ominous Wind of the ten that can learn it leveling up, then trivia like that should stay. --AlphaTotodile 22:16, 16 May 2009 (UTC)
- Why is that? Is it because it's a level-up move? In which case I could understand, but there are plenty of Template:Type2 moves that can be learned by a huge amount of non-Normal-type Pokémon. I don't care either way, and I'm not gonna get in a revert war or anything, but I personally would find it a better idea to revert with an explanation in the edit summary (unless it's pure vandalism). Thanks, Kevin Y (talk) 22:24, 16 May 2009 (UTC)
- Hey, AT: there's some rule somewhere that says when you revert, give a reason, unless the edit is vandalism. I'm not sure where, but I know I discussed it somewhere on a talk page with the Echidna in Chief. And, if it isn't on a policy page it should be, out of courtesy to the user you're reverting. — THE TROM — 08:47, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

Talk abuse
Just to let you know, a lot of your contributions are edging towards talk abuse. For the record, these four (1, 2, 3, 4) were completely uncalled for, and you and I both know there are many more in your contribs list. Please, do not go out of your way to criticize other users in the way that you have been doing for an extended period period of time. It will not be tolerated any longer. — THE TROM — 02:10, 18 May 2009 (UTC)
- In addition, please do not intrude among other user's discussions. While Bulbapedia is a place that anyone can edit, it doesn't give you the right to but in to their conversations. While that may be appropriate for an administrator, normally users don't really care about what others have to day, and joining barely over a month ago, you haven't really earned your stripes like some others. Edit conflicts piss people off alot. It's like if you were talking to somebody and a random person butts in and you are not allowed to say anything until the other person is finished. I've got a couple of examples here for you, take a look and see how you can improve. (1, 2).
