Trivia
- Marakacchi is the only Template:Type2 capable of using Peck.
- Two of Marakacchi's abilities revolve around a real-world cactus's tolerance to water: Water Absorb absorbs direct damage to restore health from them, also making it immune, while Storm Drain draws in Template:Type2 moves directed at another target, as well as making it immune to them.
Origin
It appears to be based off a flowering cactus and a maraca. It could draw inspiration from the bunny ears cactus. It also seems to be based on traditional Mexican dress styles. The fact that it dances and makes maraca-like sounds may mean it is based off of Spanish dances, possibly the Mexican version of the Cuban Son.
Name origin
Its name is likely a combination of Maracas and Mariachi.
