Cover Fossil

The Lid Fossil (Japanese: ふたのカセキ Futanokaseki) and Wing Fossil (Japanese: はねのカセキ Hanenokaseki) are fossils from the Generation V games, Pokémon Black and White.

Like Generations I through III, the player can once again choose which fossil they want to get in each game. The fossils are found in the Ancient Castle, where they will be offered by one of the Backpackers in the first floor of the ruins. One can be chosen, and the other will be kept by the Backpacker.

The fossils can be revived by being given to one of the scientists that can be found in the Shippou City Museum. The Lid Fossil is able to be regenerated into Purotoga and the Wing Fossil is able to be regenerated into Aaken.
