Furret (Japanese: オオタチ Ootachi) is a Normal-type Pokémon.
Biology
Physiology
Furret is a tan mammalian creature bearing a strong resemblence to a ferret. It's most notable feature is it's long skinny body which is used for slipping through the small entrances to their nests. It has four meduim sized brown rings from it's tail to the middle of it's torso and smaller brown rings on each of it's hands. It has two brown lines on each cheek and the top of it's head is also brown.

Furret tend to make their nests in large open areas such as meadows and praries.

Origin
Name origin
Furret's name is a combination of ferret and furry. It is more similar to a ferret than Sentret. The Japanese name could be a corruption of "itachi" which means Weasel. The French for ferret happens to be Furet, yet the French corruption is actually Beech Marten; although the actual meaning implied by the corruption seems to be snoop.
