Aurora Beam (Japanese: オーロラビーム Aurora Beam) is a damage-dealing Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation I.
Effect
Aurora Beam does damage and has a 10% chance of lowering the target's Attack stat by one stage.

- Almost all Pokémon that learn Aurora Beam are Template:Type2, despite the fact that it is an Template:Type2 move. Apart from Smeargle, the only non-Water-type Pokémon that are capable of learning the move by any means are Delibird, Cresselia and Cryogonal.
