Habitat

Before its extinction, Cradily inhabited environments adjacent to bodies of water, such as seas or oceans, particularly in warm areas. Its personal nest was often made in the shoals of the sea. It was a common sight on beaches when the tides receded.

To prevent being washed out by rough tides, Cradily utilized its body as an anchor.

Root fossils, from which this Pokémon is ressurected, have been found in the Hoenn and Sinnoh regions.

Diet

Main article: Pokémon food

Cradily appear to have once been carnivores seeing as it both hunted and ingested prey found in seafloors or its immediate surroundings using its eight tentacles.

In the anime

Cradily has only been seen in Where's Armaldo? at the Island of Fossil Pokémon.

In the manga

In the TCG
