Swanna (Japanese: スワンナ Swanna) is a dual-type Water/Flying Pokémon.
It evolves from Ducklett starting at level 35.
Biology
Physiology
Swanna is a swan-like Pokémon with primarily white plumage. Its beak is long and yellow, topped with a black cere, with several white-colored feathery features adorning its head. The more rounded of the features are to the sides of its head, and the more pointed feature is atop. As distinctive among swans, Swanna possesses a long, curving neck. Two light-blue feathery features, like those on the sides of Swanna's head, are present on Swanna's underside, and Swanna's large wings are positioned in a way unconventional for birds. Swanna's legs are small, and its webbed feet dark in coloration.
Gender differences
None.
Special abilities
Swanna are very hale creatures, known to fly for thousands of miles without rest. With a strong bill and fluid neck, Swanna are capable of very accurate jabbing and thrusting attacks.
Behavior
Swanna fly out when the sun rises. The Swanna in the middle of the formation is the flock's leader. At dusk, flocks of Swanna will dance, with the leader in the middle of the routine.

Trivia
- Swanna was first seen in a video for the Pokémon Musicals, again when its art leaked on Yahoo's Pokémon website, and finally in the September issue of CoroCoro.
- Swanna and its pre-evolution Ducklett learn only Water and Flying-type moves by level-up.
- Despite its White Pokédex entry stating "Its attacks with its bill are severe. It bends its long neck and unleashes successive jabs.", Swanna cannot learn any moves involving a beak or bill through level-up.
Origin
Swanna is based on a swan. Its design seems to draw inspiration from the outfit worn by the main character of the Swan Lake ballet, Odette.
Name origin
Swanna is derived from swan and may be a combination of swan and ballerina.
