Pokémon world locations

Five Island (Japanese: 5のしま Five Island) is a location in the Sevii Islands archipelago, found to the southeast of Four Island and Navel Rock.

This is the only place in the core series Generation III games where the player can obtain a Togepi (in the form of an Egg) without the help of spin-off games.

Notable settings

Town

Not much of importance is placed on the town itself, as the many routes, both land and water, surrounding it have much to do and see. In fact, upon leaving the town, players will notice the familiar theme of Johto's Lake of Rage as the route music.

Residential houses

A woman in one of the houses is standing by her fridge, muttering to herself about not having to buy anything for dinner that night because her husband will catch something for her; however, she doubts that he will be successful in getting a bite. Just as she suspects, her husband stands just outside on the shore, unable to catch anything, because, he complains, there are "too many people here these days."

Demographics

Five Island has a population of 6, making it the smallest settlement in both the Sevii Islands and the whole Pokémon world.
