Nocturnal Pokémon
From Bulbapedia, the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia.
Some Pokémon are nocturnal Pokémon, which means they appear more frequently in the wild at night, or do not appear at all unless it is night. This only applies to Generation II, Generation IV and Generation VII, where time is a major feature.
