Mienfoo trivia

Why did you remove the piece of trivia I had on Mienfoo? Is that fact not interesting enough? What quantifies a good piece of trivia? - Colaquikwelus (talk) 14:06, 23 November 2018 (UTC)

Not notable for a single species type in this case. Currently Larvesta and Volcarona are the only evolutionary pages with a trivia note about how long it takes them to evolve. They hold the longest time before evolving with Larvesta having to reach level 59 before it evolves into Volcarona. I am not GrammarFreak01 but I thought I would help answer the question. Hope my answer helped answer your question. Frozen Fennec 16:04, 23 November 2018 (UTC)
That, and the trivia was just poorly written. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 21:53, 23 November 2018 (UTC)

Ultra Rangers

Was wondering if you could give me a hand with User:BigDocFan/Ultra Rangers. I'm not sure they are worthy of receiving a character page but would like a hand just in case.--BigDocFan (talk) 11:48, 9 December 2018 (UTC)

Sure. I'll see what I can do. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 22:31, 9 December 2018 (UTC)

Vic Mignogna

Would you give me a hand with User:BigDocFan/Vic Mignogna please when you get the chance?--BigDocFan (talk) 13:40, 12 December 2018 (UTC)

Sure. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 08:52, 13 December 2018 (UTC)

Ultra Guardians Base

Me again, was wondering if you could assist me with User:BigDocFan/Ultra Guardians Base please?--BigDocFan (talk) 21:57, 13 December 2018 (UTC)

Of course! GrammarFreak01 (talk) 21:58, 13 December 2018 (UTC)
Thanks, I know I keep asking you for assistance with my pages for which I am grateful for, just hope I don't end up annoying you.--BigDocFan (talk) 21:59, 13 December 2018 (UTC)
It's alright, it's all cool. :) GrammarFreak01 (talk) 22:00, 13 December 2018 (UTC)

Battle area links

Just so you know, the Battle Frontier facilities, aside from the Battle Tower, don't have their own articles, so please use links like these: {{DL|Battle Frontier (Generation III)|Battle Factory}}. Thank you. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 09:50, 15 December 2018 (UTC)

Oh. I was only linking it that way because PS334 linked it that way in its plot summary. But I'll keep that in mind. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 01:10, 16 December 2018 (UTC)

"all of the episodes"

"all episodes" and "all of the episodes" are both grammatically correct, and normally I have no preference between them. However, on Pokémon: Heritage Collection, because there's a significant amount of text between "episodes" and "from _", the former flows much better, since it can stand on its own but the latter cannot. --SnorlaxMonster 02:47, 16 December 2018 (UTC)

I really don't see how all of the text that you're mentioning is supposed to interrupt the flow of the sentences. I read it and it all sounds fine to me, even now. Regardless, I'll change the wording of those sentences in a way that'll make both of us happy (or unhappy, depending on your stance (hopefully not)), because I really disagree with your stance and I don't think I can let that kind of wording slide. Let's see what happens. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 03:30, 16 December 2018 (UTC)
"Many episodes" is simply incorrect; it implies that it is some non-specific subset, which it isn't; it's all of the episodes except the few specifically mentioned. You cannot say it contains "many episodes, except these episodes".
What reason do you have to prefer "all of the episodes" over "all episodes"? I've given you my reason for my preference in this particular case, but you haven't mentioned yours. --SnorlaxMonster 03:41, 16 December 2018 (UTC)
Because I have absolutely never seen "all episodes" being used in a correct context. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 03:42, 16 December 2018 (UTC)
I don't know what you mean by "a correct context". All of the cases you've changed to "all of the episodes" were perfectly fine beforehand. In fact, while "all of the episodes" isn't incorrect, it borders on sounding unnatural. This article discusses it in the section "All (of) the/my/these things". --SnorlaxMonster 04:00, 16 December 2018 (UTC)

Ben Phillips

Was wondering if you could give me a hand with User:BigDocFan/Ben Phillips when you get the chance?--BigDocFan (talk) 09:45, 21 December 2018 (UTC)

Sure. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 02:16, 22 December 2018 (UTC)

Airings

I've noticed recently you've changed appear to appeared on some character pages before the episodes have actually aired. Do not do this again. That implies that the episodes have aired, which they have not. Playerking95 (talk) 09:49, 23 December 2018 (UTC)

Well, it was kind of inevitable the articles would change anyway, so what's the harm? I only took care of it a couple of hours before the airing actually occurred. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 10:13, 23 December 2018 (UTC)
It's how we do things GrammarFreak. We don't edit the articles until the episode airs, regardless of it being inevitable. It comes off as wanting to be the first one to make an edit, and considering your "have to make 10,000 edits a year" thing you have, I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case.--ForceFire 10:33, 23 December 2018 (UTC)
I never said that. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 10:34, 23 December 2018 (UTC)
Yes, you did.--ForceFire 10:37, 23 December 2018 (UTC)
How come you still remember that?! You're supposed to forget that! GrammarFreak01 (talk) 10:38, 23 December 2018 (UTC)
Because the amount of edits you make a day and that statement comes hand in hand. Whenever I see you make so many edits, I wonder if it's you trying to reach your 10,000 a year goal. I'm certain most of your edits would be borderline pointless, but you make too many edits that I just cannot be bothered checking.--ForceFire 10:44, 23 December 2018 (UTC)

James Weaver Clark

Was wondering if you could also assist me with User:BigDocFan/James Weaver Clark please?--BigDocFan (talk) 07:52, 24 December 2018 (UTC)

Sure. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 02:27, 28 December 2018 (UTC)

Edit Stalking resumed

The gaps in episode plots and other associated pages do nothing to affect the respective pages. You have been deleting only gaps on many of the plot summaries written by myself like SM102. You have already been warned about unnecessary edits, please refrain from deleting gaps as it is considered an unnecessary edit. PardescanSlowbro (talk) 03:10, 28 December 2018 (UTC)

Block

As a result of returning to your habit of making pointless edits, you have been blocked for 3 days. You have had multiple warnings about not making pointless edits and generally about making quality edits. Since you seem to have forgotten those warnings, hopefully more explicit consequences will drive the point home. If you need a reminder about what constitutes a quality edit, feel free to ask me. Tiddlywinks (talk) 03:42, 28 December 2018 (UTC)

Huh? I was just correcting some errors! GrammarFreak01 (talk) 03:56, 28 December 2018 (UTC)
Why were my edits even undone? There's supposed to be no spaces after the end of a paragraph, because there's no new sentence there. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 04:01, 28 December 2018 (UTC)
Please allow me to talk to PardescanSlowbro (talkcontribs) about this. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 04:04, 28 December 2018 (UTC)
Please? I'm freaking out here. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 04:10, 28 December 2018 (UTC)
Please? GrammarFreak01 (talk) 04:15, 28 December 2018 (UTC)

(resetting indent)Would you kindly point out the errors in the edits TiddlyWinks selected? From what I can tell, there were no errors. Also, beggin isn't going to make you get unblocked any quicker. The last time you did this, you got yourself a longer block, and I still remember the talk page section that event happened, so don't try to deny it.--ForceFire 04:46, 28 December 2018 (UTC)

The edits in question were me removing spaces that were just there at the ends of paragraphs. ([1] [2]) They seemed to be there for no reason, so I removed them. Spaces are only for separating words and sentences, and I don't see why they were left at the ends of paragraphs. Do you get what I'm saying? GrammarFreak01 (talk) 05:08, 28 December 2018 (UTC)
Also, I just realized that I'm actually blocked for three days. I thought I was blocked indefinitely, which was why I was freaking out and begging earlier. Even so, I would still like to talk this through. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 05:41, 28 December 2018 (UTC)
The point here is that the spaces after a sentence like here does not affect the article in any way other then maybe adding a bit to its size so making an edit in an atempt to fix that "error" is just superfluous and cloggs the rc for no reason. Hence why it's called pointless. --Raltseye prata med mej 16:55, 28 December 2018 (UTC)
I would still like to know why those spaces were left behind to begin with. You cannot leave a space without pressing the space bar, which leads me to assume there was something intentional with that. Unless something else is going on that I'm not informed about. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 22:32, 28 December 2018 (UTC)
Are we not going to talk about this? GrammarFreak01 (talk) 09:14, 29 December 2018 (UTC)
Why those two insignificant pieces of space were left behind is not important. Probably because the editor who put them there didn't care since it really doesn't matter anyway. Like I said, they do not affect the layout of the page in any way so why should you be bothered by them in the first place? --Raltseye prata med mej 11:51, 29 December 2018 (UTC)
Because that's something I don't see in any article ever? GrammarFreak01 (talk) 22:11, 29 December 2018 (UTC)
Go back through your talk page archives, and search for "quality" and "pointless". (And re-read those sections.) You've been warned about such edits before. As I said: hopefully this time the message will sink in. We're not interested in exceptions; we're interested in knowing that you understand and can follow what we've repeatedly asked of you. If you show you can't, like yesterday, this is what happens. Tiddlywinks (talk) 22:42, 29 December 2018 (UTC)

Hiker Trio (Alola)

Two things first, Happy New Year Grammar, secondly welcome back to Bulbapedia. I was wondering if you could give User:BigDocFan/Hiker Trio (Alola) a look over, I seem to be failing my resolution of trying not to bother you too much lol--BigDocFan (talk) 09:29, 1 January 2019 (UTC)

Sure thing. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 15:09, 1 January 2019 (UTC)

Saki Endo

Was wondering if you could give User:BigDocFan/Saki Endo a lookover. I doubt she is notable at present but might be in the future.--BigDocFan (talk) 16:37, 5 January 2019 (UTC)

Nice to have you back Grammar, could you give User:BigDocFan/Hapu's Mudsdale and User:BigDocFan/Hapu's Golurk a look as well--BigDocFan (talk) 08:44, 18 January 2019 (UTC)
Sure thing. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 09:51, 18 January 2019 (UTC)
Was wondering also if you could help with User:BigDocFan/List of Bewear rescues--BigDocFan (talk) 10:33, 18 January 2019 (UTC)
Of course. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 11:52, 18 January 2019 (UTC)
Was also wondering if you could help expand the descriptions? Sorry to be asking so much on your return--BigDocFan (talk) 13:08, 18 January 2019 (UTC)
That, I really can't help you with. I don't actually watch SM, so I don't know the exact details. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 22:22, 18 January 2019 (UTC)

Pointless edit again

Just after I'll see you come back, you're on edit stalking again, which is another behaviour that is unacceptable. Can I ask you something? Why you removed the sentences line of Rie Kugimiya, where she voiced Ida, that will return back in the upcoming SM106, that will played a role to teach Lana for the potential of her Popplio to evolve into Brionne? Which I'll considered is a major role now that you've have removed? Singaporean (talk) 10:01, 19 January 2019 (UTC)

I did not know at the time that Ida would be reappearing in SM106. My apologies. I will restore that line. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 23:02, 19 January 2019 (UTC)
It would be a good idea to check these things before taking action. Always assume you might turn out to be wrong about facts. Kikugi (talk) 10:43, 22 January 2019 (UTC)

Scott Williams

Asked Force Fire about User:Super10ZX/Scott Williams being mainspaced, his response was I think the biography section should be filled out first. Was wondering if you could assist with that--BigDocFan (talk) 09:26, 22 January 2019 (UTC)

Will see what I can do. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 05:33, 23 January 2019 (UTC)

Why did you delete my Incineroar's Origin?

Hello. about Incineroar's page in the Origin section. I was searching things because Incineroar is my favorite Pokémon. and I found out about a black tiger. And I got monstrously colossal interesting parts with it. Me being me, thinking someone was gonna remove a part of the piece I wrote there. Next day happened, I opened my gmail inbox, saw something about Bulbapedia, clicked on it to see what part would be removed. Then, I saw that literally everything was removed. I checked if you put it in Biology, but you didn't. Don't you think it looks logical? I do. And, please don't dare to say the grammar was poorly written like I read in the first section on your talk page. If that's the case, I'm pretty much sure you should edit it to be less poorly written. Since I'm pretty sure you master that.

I just want an explanation,

Thank you very much! SeeYaLater (talk) 15:30, 25 January 2019 (UTC)

Tapu Fini

You accidentally deleted water clocks in Tapu Fini's biology section, which was wrong because water clocks are real things and that's exactly what they were called. To say they're just clocks is wrong, because they don't look like normal clocks. Playerking95 (talk) 06:40, 13 February 2019 (UTC)

I thought it was just an error. My apologies. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 06:41, 13 February 2019 (UTC)

Thanks

Thanks for adding the characters to the voice actor pages, would have done so myself but didn't want to edit the same actor pages too much without being accused of spamming or getting on someone's nerves--BigDocFan (talk) 08:53, 15 February 2019 (UTC)

If you want to add more English VA's to the pages, you can check out the cast lists here--BigDocFan (talk) 06:36, 19 February 2019 (UTC)

EP261

Hi. With reference to [3], what is the meaning of those 2 voices of the Victreebels if not gender? Eastern Goldfinch (talk) 14:39, 11 March 2019 (UTC)

The way you word it, it doesn't seem relevant. Perhaps you need to further clarify the content you're trying to add. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 02:07, 12 March 2019 (UTC)
The first voice is of a woman and the second is of a man. Seeing would be best. It's from 17:57 to 18:03 (in the 21 minute version). Eastern Goldfinch (talk) 07:39, 12 March 2019 (UTC)

Jessie Kane Gill

Was wondering if you could give User:BigDocFan/Jessie Kane Gill a look over in case it can be mainspaced?--BigDocFan (talk) 12:47, 12 March 2019 (UTC)

Sure. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 03:33, 13 March 2019 (UTC)

EP274

About this, what is the meaning of "He could be actually serious"? Eastern Goldfinch (talk) 17:28, 15 March 2019 (UTC)

He could've actually been asking for a stuntman within the scene. As in, the stuntman was real. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 20:07, 15 March 2019 (UTC)
He is talking to the director. Isn't he? - unsigned comment from Eastern Goldfinch (talkcontribs)
Well, yeah. That means he could be asking the director for a stuntman. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 02:14, 20 March 2019 (UTC)
So that the breaking of the fourth wall, right? Eastern Goldfinch (talk) 16:54, 20 March 2019 (UTC)
I thought you were talking about a fictional director. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 19:04, 20 March 2019 (UTC)

(resetting indent)GrammarFreak, I'd advise you to watch the episode just so you understand the context of the scene. I don't think it's clear who he was addressing when he said that, he could be talking to Jessie or the viewer. Though I think it as more of a general statement for his own safety, rather than making a joke to the audience.--ForceFire 01:38, 21 March 2019 (UTC)

There is no fictional director. They were running away with Pikachu but on a ship. Ash chased them. So James launched a rope to the port and asked for a stunt double to swing away on that rope. Eastern Goldfinch (talk) 09:42, 21 March 2019 (UTC)
Oh, my bad. The way the edit was worded made it seem like James may have actually been asking a character within the show for a stunt double. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 04:42, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
No problem. Eastern Goldfinch (talk) 11:35, 25 March 2019 (UTC)

Mudbray

I understand what you're saying, but that isn't reflected on those pages. Take Professor Sycamore's Garchomp for example. Its first appearance is mentioned on the Garchomp (Pokémon) page while the rest of its appearances are listed on Sycamore's page since that is the place to go into more detail about this specific Garchomp. Adding every appearance of a Pokémon that appears multiple times is redundant when there is another place for it.--Rahl (talk) 02:30, 25 March 2019 (UTC)

I have a way of covering multiple episodes at once on a Pokémon article. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 02:31, 25 March 2019 (UTC)
I see. Sorry about that.--Rahl (talk) 02:36, 25 March 2019 (UTC)
It's alright. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 20:50, 25 March 2019 (UTC)

Bobbi Hartley/Riley Joseph

I don't suppose you can find much information about actors Bobbi Hartley and Riley Joseph in terms of them getting their own article--BigDocFan (talk) 10:13, 26 March 2019 (UTC)

I can try. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 01:40, 27 March 2019 (UTC)

Linking

This is something I've noticed in a few of your edits, you don't need to link to any article if there's already a link to it, especially within the same trivia piece. If you're going to link to an article, make sure that it isn't already linked within the same section. There only need to be one link per section. Thank you.--ForceFire 02:07, 27 March 2019 (UTC)

My apologies. I tend to only zero in on what new changes were implemented and not really read the larger paragraph, bullet point, etc. This is why I missed the previous link. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 02:10, 27 March 2019 (UTC)

please stop reverting

Hello you keep re-adding Kether Donohue to Kandice. stop it, Annice Moriarty voiced her, based on the credits of the episode, not the long-held belief that Moriarty and Donohue were the same perosn. African Vulture (talk) 21:20, 31 March 2019 (UTC)

Read my talk page messages to you. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 21:21, 31 March 2019 (UTC)

How about you stop pushing this lie that MOriarty and Donohue are the same person. It is unsourced and unfounded. It is no different to how people thought that Agatha and Rouge the Bat (from Sonic) were voiced by Caren Manuel, when in reality they were voiced by Allyson Johnson (Agatha) and Kathleen Delaney (Rouge). You guys are making the same mistake, and I caught you at it. It's a lie, and i will not allow you to push it. No source exists apart from IMDB, which Wikipedia (which Bulbapedia likes to model itself on) says that IMDB is not reliable for pseudonyms, even if Donohue did by some miracle use that name which she did not, because they are two completely separate people. African Vulture (talk) 21:39, 31 March 2019 (UTC) African Vulture (talk) 21:39, 31 March 2019 (UTC)

I'm not trying to push any lie. Trust me, I too have seen some confusion regarding VA identities. But this has been something that's been in place for probably many years without being contested, and as a result, you need admins to look at it first before it can go forward. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 21:41, 31 March 2019 (UTC)
We're experienced members of Bulbapedia who are nothing but welcoming towards newbies, we've given you advice which you have ignored. I have complained to admin about you as a last resort.--BigDocFan (talk) 21:42, 31 March 2019 (UTC)
As have I. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 21:46, 31 March 2019 (UTC)

You guys have to allow me to talk to said amin. This is rosebr10 all over again. Remember how you guys went after her? You guys say wait wait wait, and I say why why why,? I'm not saying no no no. I need to know where people came up with this from, and I may have identified it. 3 names:

  • Allyson Johnson ([[Agatha from Pokemon),
  • Kathleen Delaney (Rouge from Sonic),
  • Caren Manuel (previously believed to have done both Agatha and Rouge).

Those were long-standing things but both were challenged and it turned out that the challenger was right. I guess what I am saying is no source, you can't claim it's a pseudonym. I don't doubt your experience, but just because it is long-uncontested doesn't mean true. African Vulture (talk) 21:52, 31 March 2019 (UTC)

We've been more than patient with you, you spoke to admin but acted before they responded.--BigDocFan (talk) 21:54, 31 March 2019 (UTC)

I I said I was going to do it, not can i do it? please read what i put. and it's hard to catch up with messages on my talk page as i rarely read it. African Vulture (talk) 21:56, 31 March 2019 (UTC)

I don't even know rosebr10. Even so, the admins NEED to take a look at your information before you do it. I don't doubt you or anything, but that's what needs to be done first. And I'll have to say, accusing users of pushing a lie isn't helping your argument at all. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 21:57, 31 March 2019 (UTC)

Thank you for not doubting me. Rather than BDF trying to have me punished, maybe he/she can do the one thing that nobody on Bulbapedia has done, no matter how much I asked. Tell em where the information came from that Annice Moriarty and Kether Donohue were the same person? Nobody has provided that to me in the past month. That is the one thing I have asked, andnobody is answering me. It had to have come form somewhere, or is it just the voice like I am guessing? African Vulture (talk) 22:00, 31 March 2019 (UTC)

I for one don't know where any of this information about the VAs came from. I'm not well-educated on it in general, so I just accepted it as fact. Don't count on me to support your information. Also, I'm still siding with BDF when it comes to your conduct, because your edit-warring and accusations are not something to turn a blind eye on. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 22:02, 31 March 2019 (UTC)

forgive me for my bad english

Hello Rather than reverting me as you did at Dimensions, you could have edited it. This is the problem with you Americans, you assume English is my first language, and that I'd be excellent at grammar. You could have edited then it would have looked less like an attack on me. I will re add it and i expect you to rather than revert and expect me to wait for an admin who won't even respond anyway, insedit it yourself so it looks better, as you have a better grasp of Engilsh than I do. I'm sorry for not being the best with this language, I have lots to learn. African Vulture (talk) 04:51, 10 April 2019 (UTC)

There are foreign-language versions of Bulbapedia that I'm sure will be better suited for you. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 05:10, 10 April 2019 (UTC)

None are in my language though for 1, and for 2 stop being so entitled. You are grammarfreak, you are supposed to help us with grammar. I don't speak French or Japanese or any European or Asian language. Out of all the languages that exist on Bulbapedia, English is the only one I understand. I can speak it good but not write it good. so again, help me with it. the information is true and I'm not waiting for force fire this time. African Vulture (talk) 05:34, 10 April 2019 (UTC) African Vulture (talk) 05:34, 10 April 2019 (UTC)

I don't see how that's possible. Anyway, go to the admins. They'll probably understand it better than I do. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 05:39, 10 April 2019 (UTC)

No, I won't go to force fire. He's in Australia. I don't know what time it is in Australia right now. In Uganda it's early morning right now. Any UK admins or European or African admins here? if so fine but not Australian Force Fire until I know he's awake. I will restore it, and try to edit it. do not revert again do you understand? African Vulture (talk) 05:40, 10 April 2019 (UTC)

Uhhhhh...you know you can contact him through the talk page, right? Like what you're doing to me right now? And he's still active; he just made an edit a few minutes ago. And please don't edit-war. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 05:41, 10 April 2019 (UTC)

No i will restore it so I can fix it as best I can, that's what I am trying to do. Let me fix it. don' tmake me wait for an admin, I don't want to because he won't help me. He thinks I'm some sort of bad user or something. I want help, not deletions. Again, you look like an entitled American who thinks that my edit shouldn't stay just because my English isn't as good as his. Now I am not saying you are, far from it, I am saying it looks to me like you are entitled due to your better grasp of English. "go to other languages", I don't speak European or Asian languages save for English.

You know what? I will restore it, and I will edit it as best I can. When I do do not delete it o rprotect the page.

If ther eis something gramatically wrong, correct it not delete it. That's how you be a good grammar freak. I know grammar freaks, and I love them to death as they usually help me with my grammar, not delete thigns and force me to redo them over again. How would you word this edit? I challenge you. African Vulture (talk) 05:46, 10 April 2019 (UTC)

But I can't help if the language is so broken and fractured in terms of writing and formatting that it becomes unbearable to read. I'm sure the admins will definitely help you out on something like grammar. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 05:48, 10 April 2019 (UTC)

Then let me restore it so they can look at it. what it it's Ugandan English vs. U.S. English, huh? Again, you are American and speak American. I will restore it, and if force is indeed active then let him fix the wording. I will try again, don't revert it or protect it, I will change the wording as best I can, and don't revert. I will restore it first, then edit it from there to read differently. Maybe then you will be able to understand it. PS, it's almost 5 minutes to 9 AM here, not sure what time it is in Sydney. I will message force fire, but I will meanwhile restore my edit then edit said edit to word differently. thanks. African Vulture (talk) 05:53, 10 April 2019 (UTC)

Here is the new version:

African Vulture (talk) 06:09, 10 April 2019 (UTC)

I am 100% sure GrammarFreak did not revert your edit as a personal attack. The point is that BP strives to be as professional an encyclopedia as possible, and grammar/English is a very important aspect to that. You shouldn't expect others not to remove your mistakes. Make sure to always assume good faith, and don't be so hostile when others revert your edits. --celadonk (talk) 22:57, 10 April 2019 (UTC)
I will add that I have seen other users remove mistakes by even more users before, many times during my tenure here, rather than just correct them. So it's not like this is a unique practice by me. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 23:02, 10 April 2019 (UTC)

You are not answering my subject but you do with other subjects later then mine?

I find it rather offensive that you answer other subjects later then mine. And then not answer my subject while i still want clarification. Yes, the China thing was a stretch, i already knew it was gonna be removed. But everything else wasn't a stretch. Especially not the White Tiger part.

Thanks. SeeYaLater (talk) 12:20, 10 April 2019 (UTC)

Revert on Pokémon Red and Green Versions

Hello;

I wanted to know why you reverted my edits to the Red and Green articles when they were improvements to the articles lead section. Your revert also removed a useful translation in the Version History section.

I'd like to know the reasoning behind this so I can get a better grasp on how Bulbapedia functions, and hopefully, we can work for an improved article without getting all edit-warry and whatnot. Thanks, EggOfReason (talk) 23:58, 10 April 2019 (UTC)

In Bulbapedia, we never italicize any game titles (at least from my experience), which is what you were doing in your primary edit. But I didn't notice I was also reverting a translation you implemented, so I do apologize for that. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 00:01, 11 April 2019 (UTC)
Alright. Thanks for the clarification. Video game titles ought to be italicized as they're long-form works like movies, but I can bring that up later with someone higher up the chain of command (a major stylistic change based off the ramblings of a single unconfirmed editor definitely won't go well). I'll see what I can do to restore my edit unitalicized. Thanks again! EggOfReason (talk) 00:06, 11 April 2019 (UTC)
Well, the titles have never been italicized for a long time, and we even have shortcut templates that link to the games without italicizing the titles. But you can definitely go to an admin if you feel this is a big issue. I can point you down the direction of Force Fire for starters. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 00:08, 11 April 2019 (UTC)

Barbara redirects here

Hello.

The text at the top of Barbara currently says "Barbara redirects here." That seems wrong since a page can't redirect to itself.

I'd like to restore the version using the template "samename" instead of "redirect" if possible. --Daniel Carrero (talk) 22:24, 15 April 2019 (UTC)

I trust Mikuri's word more since they've been here longer. If you want to discuss template usage, I recommend going to them. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 01:32, 17 April 2019 (UTC)
Alright, Mikuri ultimately changed it to "samename" again as I suggested. --Daniel Carrero (talk) 08:31, 17 April 2019 (UTC)
Only because she reworded everything else to make sure the template was appropriate. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 22:37, 17 April 2019 (UTC)
Yes, I'm glad he did it. Now the text looks great in my opinion. (I'm using the pronoun 'he' based on Mikuri's profile)
For a moment I missed the fact that Template:samename returns "for the" while Template:redirect only returns "for" (without "the") in the exact same place. This caused the previous weirdness. I'm sorry about that.
Still, the "redirect" template was also inappropriate at least in my opinion, arguably worse because (to repeat) "Barbara redirects here." was a false statement.
It seems all solved now. If it were not solved yet, I would gladly offer to edit the article and use "samename" with a different wording like Mikuri did or maybe just wikitext without templates if no appropriate templates were found. I just asked here first before editing the article again. --Daniel Carrero (talk) 23:14, 17 April 2019 (UTC)

Generation VI motif

"Poorly written"? "Badly formatted"? "No need for expansion"? That's harsh.

(Just so you're aware, I'm not trying to rag on you. I just trying to express how incomplete the section was.)

If my editing for the Generation VI motif section was that bad, then Generation VII motif section must be a complete dumpster fire. If you didn't like the writing or formatting, you can just edit it to be more satisfactory. I'm just presenting information from the games in a cohesive package; discussion is sparked by the presentation of evidence. The original writing just didn't feel sufficent enough in information to sate the need for a detailed look into the generation's thematic core. There is way more to this generation than just beauty, balance, and harmony; what about the themes presented by Mega Evolution, Lysandre's motives, or even how Zygarde fits into this generation's theme (He WAS introduced in this generation, for crying out loud!). Argentarus (talk) 16:47, 18 April 2019 (UTC)
There was no need to add that much information. Those sections are always short and to-the-point. Will be removing all the stuff you put into Generation VII as well. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 18:59, 18 April 2019 (UTC)
No reason? Why is there no need? It's a thematic discussion section. Argentarus (talk) 19:21, 18 April 2019 (UTC)
I just told you why. Those sections are always short and to-the-point. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 19:22, 18 April 2019 (UTC)
Honestly, I see no problem with expanding on these sections. It's an interesting topic for sure, and Argentarus's writing seemed well-written from my quick skim of it. I would definitely not be opposed to longer thematic motif sections. Maybe if we want all of them to match, the sections for older generations can be expanded upon instead. --celadonk (talk) 22:57, 18 April 2019 (UTC)
GrammarFreak does have a bit of a point concerning length. The relationship section in gen VII was such a massive wall of text, I was thinking about revising it somehow (I couldn't quite figure out what I should cut, considering that was at least a week or two of work and I've still kinda been in overdrive making theories about the timeline, and life, too), so I've held off. Gen 6 was definitely lower in quality because it took me a few hours to edit. Generation 6 is a little all over the place thematically, so that doesn't help either.
But I'm still kind of confused why Generation VII's section wasn't deleted within the last three months that its been up, surprisingly, GrammarFreak only edited the once page once within that timespan without deleting it. If not then, why now? Argentarus (talk) 01:11, 19 April 2019 (UTC)
Because I wasn't thinking about the sections for the other generations at the time. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 04:41, 19 April 2019 (UTC)
Let's see what everybody prefers: short, precise synopses or in-depth explanations, with some tailoring to reduce excessive walls of text, into each generation's major themes. It'll be in the forums Argentarus (talk) 22:30, 28 April 2019 (UTC)

Please

I would like to request please, have the ability to post images to add it in articles (I am more dedicated to cities, routes or places of the anime), but I can not, so I would like to have the ability to upload images

Would it be possible? If you can not, I'll understand

(~) Grizzlyring123 (talk) 09:04 , 22 April 2019 (UTC) --Grizzlyring123 02:05, 23 April 2019 (UTC)

I don't know how to post images or give you that ability. You probably should ask Force Fire for that kind of stuff. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 03:43, 23 April 2019 (UTC)

Why The Change (Pikachu's Personality)

I've only made one edit to this wiki and it was immediately altered and removed not even 24 hours after I wrote it, proof read it, and posted it. Why? There was literally nothing wrong with it and I'm frankly quite shocked at how fast my contribution was removed. Could you please explain what exactly I did against the terms of service / code of conduct? RosesForBeautifly1995 (talk) 05:32, 27 April 2019 (UTC)

I removed that section because it just wasn't that notable, not to mention it was poorly written and formatted. There is absolutely no need to describe any Pokémon's relationship to anyone else unless it is super-specific and consistent throughout an entire series. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 14:22, 28 April 2019 (UTC)

Edit War

If you don't stop your aggression of editing and accept your mistake. I will contact the administrator to solve this out Singaporean (talk) 14:32, 28 April 2019 (UTC)

What mistake? You seem to be the one who was mistaken about Hapu giving Sophocles the Buginium Z. Also, please, for the love of God, improve your English. This is an English wiki, so things need to be as coherent as possible. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 14:36, 28 April 2019 (UTC)
And it looks like an admin concurs with my position, so don't get twisted up and think first before flinging around aggressions. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 14:38, 28 April 2019 (UTC)
Sub already revealed, Hapu reason of giving out the Z-Ring to Sophocles is because he's saved other Vikavolt at the cave. Singaporean (talk) 16:14, 28 April 2019 (UTC)
I'm not questioning that. I'm questioning you writing style. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 16:15, 28 April 2019 (UTC)
