Rie Kugimiya (Japanese: 釘宮理恵 Kugimiya Rie) is a Japanese voice actress for the Pokémon anime.
Biography
Kugimiya was born on May 30, 1979 in Osaka, Japan and became a voice actress and singer as an adult. She began her work during the original series, where she mostly voiced characters of the day. However, she gained two major roles during its movies: Celebi in the thirteenth movie and Confined Hoopa in the eighteenth movie, respectively. Later, during Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon, Kugimiya's major role was Ida. Kugimiya is currently affiliated with the talent group I'm Enterprise and was nominated as Best Leading Actress during the 1st Seiyu Awards.
