The Rocket Prize Master

The Rocket Prize Master (Japanese: ロケット・ガチャット Rocket Gachat) is a mecha used by Team Rocket in the Pokémon anime. It is a capsule toy vending machine filled with many Poké Balls, and it is delivered to the required location by a Pelipper. By inserting Meowth's koban and turning the crank, one to two Poké Balls are dispensed for Jessie and James to temporarily use. The Rocket Prize Master first appeared in Ivysaur's Mysterious Tower!.

The Poké Balls dispensed by the Rocket Prize Master are purple and branded with the Team Rocket insignia, and they will always drop a leaflet containing basic information of the Pokémon, including their name, category, and moves when thrown. The coloration indicates the Pokémon they contain are the property of Team Rocket rather than that of Jessie and James themselves.

Pokémon used by James

Tyranitar

James used Tyranitar to prevent Ash and Goh from foiling Team Rocket's scheme to steal a group of wild Ivysaur and Bulbasaur. It was eventually defeated by Pikachu's Thunderbolt.

Tyranitar's known moves are Fire Fang, Dark Pulse, Stone Edge, and Hyper Beam.

Beartic

James used Beartic to prevent Ash and Goh from foiling Team Rocket's scheme to steal a group of Pokémon taking part in the Pokémon Iceberg Race, but it was eventually defeated.

Beartic's known moves are Icicle Crash and Thrash.

Dusclops

James used Dusclops to prevent Ash and Goh from foiling Team Rocket's scheme to steal a Gengar. It was used in a Double Battle alongside another Dusclops used by Jessie only to be defeated by Gengar and Pikachu.

Dusclops's known moves are Ice Punch and Night Shade.

Poliwrath

James used Poliwrath to battle Ash and Goh after encountering them at the entrance to their secret base in Vermilion City. However, it was defeated by Pikachu's Thunderbolt.

Poliwrath's only known move is Water Gun.

Crobat

James used Crobat to battle Ash and Goh after their attempts to catch Pikachu, Raboot, and Yamper failed, but it was soon defeated.

Crobat's known moves are Air Cutter and Air Slash.

Slowking

James sent out Slowking whilst in their base.

Armaldo
Debut JN028

James sent out Armaldo to stop Ash and Goh from retrieving the Sobble they captured. Armaldo stopped Sobble from escaping, only to be sent blasting off by the group.

Armaldo's only known move is Metal Claw.

Kingler

James sent out Kingler to stop Ash and Goh from stopping them after they had stolen a group of Water-type Pokémon during the Water-type Pokémon Friendship Contest.

Kingler's only known move is Metal Claw.

Drapion

James sent out Drapion to battle Goh, only for Drapion to be distracted by the honey and not battle. Drapion was later sent blasting off alongside Team Rocket by Heracross.

Known of Drapion's moves are known.

Gyarados ♂

Jessie used Gyarados to prevent Ash and Goh from foiling Team Rocket's scheme to steal a group of wild Ivysaur and Bulbasaur. He was eventually defeated by Pikachu's Thunderbolt.

Gyarados's known moves are Ice Fang, Aqua Tail, and Hyper Beam.

Machamp

Jessie used Machamp to prevent Ash and Goh from foiling Team Rocket's scheme to steal a group of Pokémon taking part in the Pokémon Iceberg Race, but it was eventually defeated.

None of Machamp's moves are known.

Wailord

Jessie used Wailord to prevent Ash and Goh from foiling Team Rocket's scheme to steal a Dragonite. However, Wailord's splashing caused trouble with the raft Team Rocket was floating on. Though Team Rocket was ultimately sent blasting off, Wailord remained in the ocean, leaving its current status unknown.

Wailord's only move is Splash.

Bellsprout

Jessie used Bellsprout to battle a Drednaw the trio encountered in Wyndon. While attacking, Bellsprout inadvertently cracked the ground, causing a red light to emerge and result in Drednaw Gigantamaxing. Bellsprout subsequently fled in fear.

Bellsprout's only known move is Power Whip.

Dusclops
Debut JN016

Jessie used Dusclops to prevent Ash and Goh from foiling Team Rocket's scheme to steal a Gengar. It was used in a Double Battle alongside another Dusclops used by James only to be defeated by Gengar and Pikachu.

Dusclops's known moves are Shadow Sneak, Fire Punch, and Night Shade.

Chewtle
Debut JN013

Chewtle was first seen in JN013, where Team Rocket encountered it in Wyndon. Team Rocket decided to take it, hoping that Chewtle would one day evolve into a Drednaw capable of Gigantamaxing.

Chewtle reappeared in JN017, where Jessie used it to battle Ash and Goh after encountering them at the entrance to their secret base in Vermilion City. It managed to defeat Goh's Scorbunny, but was defeated by Pikachu's Thunderbolt. It later battled Scorbunny again, only to be defeated when it evolved into a Raboot.

Chewtle's known moves are Water Gun, Headbutt, and Bite.

Skarmory
