Effect

Icicle Crash can also be used as part of a Contest Spectacular combination, with the user gaining extra three appeal points if the move Hail was used in the prior turn.

Generation VIII

Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Icicle Crash's base power has been lowered to 80. Instead of causing flinching, it lowers the target's action speed.

Pokémon UNITE

In Pokémon UNITE, Icicle Crash is Mamoswine's first move. It is obtained by evolving into Piloswine at level 5 and upgrading Ice Shard into it instead of Ice Fang. The user drops icicles on the designated location, dealing damage to enemies in the area of effect and decreasing their movement speed for a short time. The final icicle shatters after a set amount of time or when hit by the user's other moves or boosted attacks, dealing damage to enemies in the area of effect and leaving them frozen. If the icicle is shattered by Tackle or High Horsepower, the ground is covered in ice, which increases the movement speed of allies that run over it. At level 11, the final icicle leaves enemies hit unable to act for a short time.
