Trivia

  • Nessa shares her Japanese voice actor, Sora Amamiya, with her counterpart from the Pokémon: Twilight Wings miniseries.
  • All versions of Nessa use special voice-over lines upon entering a team that contains certain Trainers (regardless of their partner Pokémon). Those Trainers include Kabu, Bea, Gordie, Melony, Sonia, Misty, Elesa, and Lana.
    • Nessa also uses special voice-over lines upon winning a battle with Kabu, Bea, Gordie, Melony, Sonia, Elesa, or Lana in the same team.
  • The types of Nessa & Drednaw's attack moves are identical to Malva's whole set of weaknesses in the Champion Stadium: Water, Rock, and Dark.

Origin

Nessa's design is based on her appearance in Pokémon Sword and Shield. Drednaw is Nessa's signature Pokémon in the core series games. Drednaw's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Sword.

Nessa does not own an Eiscue outside this game. Ice Face Eiscue's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Shield, and Noice Face Eiscue's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Sword.
