The M Master Deck Build Box Speed Style (Japanese: MマスターデッキビルドBOX スピードスタイル) is one of two Japanese-exclusive boxed collections of cards released for the Pokémon Trading Card Game on August 7, 2015.
Information
The concept of the Master Deck Build Box products, as with the original released during the BW Era, is to serve as a medium to provide players with popular cards, ideas and inspiration to construct a competitive deck. This continued into the XY Era in the form of two new products: the M Master Deck Build Box Speed Style and M Master Deck Build Box Power Style. Both retain features of the original, including cards used in many tournament-tried decks as well as detailed literature in the form of the Mega Master Deck Build Book, which provides a comprehensive breakdown of key cards and how they can be used together. Each box also includes recent additions to game mechanics such as Mega Evolution and has specific strategies with regards to their card selections.
The box includes a selection of 102 Pokémon, Trainer, and Special Energy cards that employ a strategy involving a quick set-up and being able to attack as soon as possible. The remaining 101 cards comprise basic Energy covering all types for a total of 203 cards. The selection of cards can all be used to make three different decks, as suggested by the Mega Master Deck Build Book. The box also comes packaged with a long card box and three partitions that can be used to store up to 750 cards. While the cards included have been released in prior expansions or pre-constructed decks, all (with the exception of the basic Energy cards) have an exclusive collection number and symbol.
