The XY Trainer Kit: Bisharp & Wigglytuff is a special Trainer Kit for the Pokémon Trading Card Game and features the Pokémon Bisharp and Wigglytuff. It was released in November 2014. In the Pokémon Trading Card Game Online's Trainer Challenge, the two Half Decks are combined into a Theme Deck called Claw Barrage, obtainable by redeeming the code from this kit.
Description
The Claw Barrage theme deck lets you outplay and outwit your opponent with Darkness-type moves and Fairy-type tricks. Wigglytuff is super cute and easy to underestimate, but capable of dishing out some serious damage with its Balloon Barrage, while the edgy Bisharp brandishes its Metal Claw at your opponents. Leave them wondering what happened with the Claw Barrage theme deck!
Information
For the first time, none of the cards included in the Trainer Kit are exclusive to the Trainer Kit and are exact reprints from the various releases throughout the XY Series. None of the cards have Rarity symbols and they each feature a collection number and set symbol exclusive to the kit. The collection numbers are the order of the cards in the two Half Decks for the example battle allowing for easy reset if the decks are accidentally shuffled prior to use for example battle.
Like the XY Trainer Kit, there is no Booster pack included and the price remains $8.99.
In addition to the Half Deck, this XY Trainer Kit also includes a deck box, rulebook, damage counters, status counters, a custom coin featuring Pikachu, and playmat. The kit also includes a Trainer Kit Guide, which takes players through an example battle. There is one guide for each of the Half Decks included.
