The Pancham Who Wants to Be a Hero (Japanese: ヒーローになりたいヤンチャム The Yancham Who Wants to Be a Hero) is the second episode of POKÉTOON. It was first released in Japan on the official Pokémon Kids TV YouTube channel on May 5, 2021 and was released on Pokémon TV on June 24, 2022, and on The Pokémon Company International's official English YouTube channel on August 25, 2022.

A young Pancham who trains in the mountains is able to destroy rocks, however while it wants to be like Arcanine, it doesn't want to evolve to a Pangoro because it thought that if it evolves into
Pangoro it wouldn't be seen as a hero of justice and might be instead seen as a big, scary looking pokémon that makes all pokémons run away from it, so he put a everstone on itself in a attempt to prevent it evolving. It was caught by a young boy trainer.
