History
Pre-series
Mollie was born into a long line of doctors in her family. At a young age, Mollie didn't really take in hindsight of what she was doing, following instead what she was told to do, pursuing her career to be a doctor. Mollie liked to take care of other Pokémon but gave up that life when she realized that she could do more than assist in a Pokémon Center and went on a journey of her own to help any wild Pokémon in need. Eventually, Mollie joined the Rising Volt Tacklers to accomplish her goal.
Pokémon Horizons: The Series
Mollie debuted in The Pendant That Starts It All (Part One) alongside the other members of the Rising Volt Tacklers. She and her teammates were searching for Liko at Indigo Academy, but to no avail. In the following episode, she met and introduced herself to Liko aboard the Brave Olivine. While the Explorers attempted to infiltrate the airship via the Wing Deck, she stepped up to try to retract that sector of the ship manually due to a blackout. However, she failed to do so in time, and the group managed to break through the ship's barrier and land on the battlefield.
In For Sure! 'Cause Sprigatito's with Me!, Mollie asked Liko if she could get some deliveries from the Pokémon Center. After Liko got the packages, she quickly left it with Mollie's Chansey before running off as she heard Murdock's Rockruff barking nearby.
In Found You, Fuecoco!, Mollie briefly battled against Zirc after Orla and Murdock returned to the airship to fix up its balloon gasbag, but Roy soon stepped up to confront Zirc after Chansey was hit by a Rock Blast.
In Arboliva's Forest, Mollie accompanied Liko and Roy into Arboliva's Forest alongside her Chansey. After their inspection on the aftermath of the forest fire, Mollie and Liko were left to wait for Roy to return. Molly asked Liko about how she felt about her parents, complimenting Liko for being able to express her thoughts to her father. After finding an injured Wooper, Mollie was quick to aid the Pokémon and was able to calm down the giant Arboliva by empathizing her worry to it.
In Flying Pikachu, Rising Higher and Higher!, Mollie was asked by the younger members as to how Captain Pikachu was able to fly during his battle against Roy in the previous episode, but she couldn't give them an answer because she didn’t know herself. Later, Mollie and the other members of the Rising Volt Tacklers learn how Friede and Captain Pikachu met.
In Song Within the Mist, Mollie joined Murdock in helping Friede in his plan to lure a Lapras, who happened to be one of Lucius's Pokémon, after they got a led through a ship crew that saw the Transport Pokémon, to come to them by bringing out their storage of Pokémon food. When the planed worked, Mollie and Murdock saw two Pokémon on crates that stored their Pokémon food. In the next episode, Mollie attempted to keep the Pokémon from stealing their food until Diana arrived to help.
In Respective Departures, Mollie attended a surprise party for Diana, as she was planning to resume traveling alone. Once they bid farewell to Diana, the Rising Volt Tacklers resumed their search for the remaining Six Heroes. However, Mollie was informed by Friede that they were heading to Paldea first in order to gain information on Terapagos.
In The SOS is from Tandemaus?, Mollie give the Pokémon living at the Brave Olivine a routine check-up. Later, Mollie and Liko were led by Hatenna to what they believe to be a Tandemaus. After treating the Tandemaus, Mollie and Liko go looking for the other one, which they were able to find. Mollie then treated the other Tandemaus while Liko went exploring further. However, Mollie and Liko found out that the Tandemaus was a family of four Maushold, with Hatenna mastering Heal Pulse to help treat them.
Character
Mollie is shown to be a fairly stoic individual, rarely displaying overt emotion. However, she is also shown to be caring, looking after and treating Pokémon that are sick or injured. Mollie is occasionally annoyed with Friede's absent-mindedness and tendency to forget important details, as seen in The Pendant That Starts It All (Part Two), when she was displeased about him bringing Liko to the Brave Olivine without telling her anything. However, despite this, Mollie does get along with Friede and the rest of her teammates, especially Orla and Liko.
She dislikes staying in one place, as it doesn't suit her, and would rather take action then stay and wait. She seems to not like to be reminded about her past career, as seen in For Sure! 'Cause Sprigatito's with Me!, instead of her, Liko was in charge of getting deliveries, and is reluctant to visit the Pokémon Center.
