Amp Plains (Japanese: エレキへいげん Elec Plains) is a dungeon in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky. There are ten floors in Amp Plains, nine floors in Far Amp Plains (Japanese: エレキへいげんおくち), and Amp Clearing (Japanese: エレキへいげんさいおうぶ) where the bosses, Luxray's tribe or Manectric's tribe, are present. After completing this dungeon, the player obtains the Water Float, which had been hidden in there by Team Skull, for Azurill.

Amp Plains is the first mandatory dungeon to have natural Monster Houses and Traps.

Gameplay

Jobs in this dungeon are E, B and A rank by default, depending on the floor. Far Amp Plains is counted as A or S rank, depending on the floor, for purpose of Treasure Boxes.

The floors are medium-sized, except for 9 and 10 of Amp Clearing, which are large sized, all of which will have 3-8 rooms. There's 1-4 items for floors 1 and 2 of Amp Plains, then 2-5 for the rest of the dungeon. There's 2-3 starting enemies on floors 1 through 7 of Amp Plains, then 2-4 for the rest of the dungeon.

The IQ Booster activates on even floors past 2nd (counting Far Amp Plains as continuation of Amp Plains). The player cannot be rescued if knocked out in Far Amp Plains. The turn limit is 1000. The enemies in this dungeon have 26IQ, granting them the Status Checker IQ skill.

In Explorers of Sky, Luxray's tribe of Luxio is replaced by Manectric's tribe of Electrike. This is possibly due Shinx being one of the possible hero and partner Pokémon in Explorers of Sky, but not in previous games.
