Arc Phone
The Arc Phone (Japanese: アルセウスフォン Arceus Phone) is an object owned by the player in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. It was created from the player's own mobile phone by Arceus when they are transported through the space-time rift into the Hisui region. They find it on Prelude Beach prior to the catching tutorial.
Functions
Map
The player can bring up a map of the surrounding area, as well as note the player's current location, nearby points of interest, and the current time of day. There is a zoom function that allows the player to check any map of any area they've been to before. It can also give the player information on current missions and requests. Guidance markers will appear on the map and in the overworld corresponding to the player's current mission or request. The player can choose to place their own labels on the map. The player can also select previously visited locations and instantly travel to them, functioning similarly to the field move Fly from previous games. The player cannot move to another location when being targeted by a wild Pokémon.
Story uses
During the story, the Arc Phone is used by the player to open the caves at Lake Verity, Lake Valor, and Lake Acuity. Arceus also addresses the player via messages on the Arc Phone at certain points during the story. When the player is about to face Arceus at the Hall of Origin, the Arc Phone provides them with the Mysterious Balm.

Arc Phone was introduced as an Item card in the Pokémon Trading Card Game during the English Sword & Shield Series (the Japanese Sword & Shield Era). It was first released in the Japanese Dark Phantasma subset and the English Lost Origin expansion, with artwork by 5ban Graphics. It allows the player to look at the top card of their deck and switch it with one of their face-down Prize cards.
Trivia
- In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, if the player has save data from Pokémon Legends: Arceus, a woman in Mesagoza will make a reference to the Arc Phone and give the player a Rotom Phone case modeled after it.
